www.elemmat.com (http://www.elemmat.com) is now up and running! The site from Murdock Industrial Inc., makers of the Murdock Mat.

After way too many midnight oil burnings I am proud to announce that the new site is up and operational... it's close... over the next couple weeks I will be tweaking the descriptions and restructuring the pictures... I just had to get what I had up and it was pretty close to what I intended. Everything on there from the logos, scans, pictures, layout, descriptions, content was done in house by yours truely, so any recommendations on site improvements is appreciated.

If anyone sees any typos... or any comments (constructive) please email me at elemmat@murdockindustrial.com.

There's pictures of the grey steel up, theres pictures of the new trunk mat, there's pictures of the tailgate mat... you can now puchase the material by the foot, and there's now a complete set deal that includes all three popular items.

If there is anyone that want's the Tailgate mat that has already purchased the full cargo mat from Murdocks in the past, just email me and I will let you know how you can get it at a discount.

We also are not requiring paypal as the only form of payment... the new shopping cart allows us to take your credit card and not charge it until it ships...

Also.... and I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone that has purchased any of the items for me in the past, there is a new 'Write a Review' on our site, so that other's can see what previous customers have had to say. All you have to do is join as a member to the site and then you can write a review.

Thanks to all that have been purchasing lately, we're trying to get them out asap- we had a little delay with a death in the family but things are back to normal.

Drive Safely,
Tony Price

Very nice! Ahhh hah a trunk only mat! Glad I waited as I was iffy about getting the full mat since I have floor mats already. Do you have any pictures of how the trunk only mat looks? Give me more info on them and I'm sold :-D

Edit:
Whops... I guess all I have to do is click on the item, lol. I'm sold. Will be ordering one next paycheck =)

I just ordered a full set (cargo, tray, tailgate) off the web page -- black steel. Been thinking about it for several months.

$190 for all three, plus shipping. Maybe my E buddy down the hall will buy the OEM mats and cargo tray.

I'd be interested in a group buy possibly also, but more importantly I was wondering if a front seat mat will ever be made? I'd like to get some of these mats, but I'd like it to extend all the way to protect the front as well.

Any chance that those are being developed?

Thought about the group buy thing... and I'll make you all a deal. Since the website has been updated and everything is now on it's way - I'll make a group by day, just once, so that all that have been watching this and would like this can take advantage of some savings. Kind of like a grand opening of our new store... but in cyberspace. Sooo.......

EOC Group Buy Day - 8/12/05 All orders processed that day will get a 10% discount on all purchases that day only, no late participants... no early participants... has to be dated that day only. The discount will not apply to freight and you must mention in the comment field that this is a Elemenet Owners Club group buy day purchase.

also, of the orders that were processed 8/3 to 8/5 on our new site please email if you're a member of this site and I will work something out with you.

That is a Friday...

And I will try to process all orders as soon as I can. This is a one time thing... and if you could... let other Element owners know about your Murdock Mat when your out and about....

Thanks Everyone,
Tony

PS, can someone else besides me put a new thread up that has a title like EOC Murdock Group Buy Day... I'd rather have someone else besides me call a rally to it.

Just a couple of comments on the website. With the credit card info, you may want to list what cards you accept. Then, with the order confirmation, you may want to display a page that is printable for a receipt, just in case something occurs with the email process.

I just received my Murdock mat complete set. I love em. they fit great.

The only thing that I wish was different is the tailgate mat. I am not sure how to do it but I would have liked it to be more of a permanent install.

How it is now is more like a put it on when you are going to be hauling stuff. Hmmm... Oh well... I love it anyway and they look great and the quality is top notch.

Thanks..................Murdock Industries.

LOVE the tray liners & rear mat. still wishing for a front mat to match.

seems like the front mat would be super easy for a company with the capability of making the rear mats. thinking about buying some liner material to match and DIYing...but the Murdock mats are so pretty I know my halfa** trimming/fitting/cutting job would drive me nuts every time I got in the E.

Some people were asking how we made the Element Mats, originally we were die cutting the tray/cup liners and template cutting the full cargo mats. Friday I FINALLY picked up our new die, which I've been working on for 2 1/2 weeks. I've included pictures of the die just to show how monsterous this is. We've found a company that does large format die cutting (can't do it in house, our's is only 28" wide x 24" long) and Tuesday we're shipping the balance (We now have the ability to cut over 100 mats a day where before, our capacity was only about 10 a day. Which was a full day, 2 people.)

For all ourstanding orders as of labor day weekend, we will be shipping Tuesday on all open orders.

For all who've been reading on us and wondered who was Tom and who was Tony... Here's our one second of the 15 seconds of fame :) I'm in Red, Tom's in Blue-

Thanks Everyone,
Tony

Any chance you will have an end of the year sales on your mats for those who missed out on your first sale? What about a back to school sale? Yeah, I too would like to know if you guys are coming out with mats for the front. Anyways, thanks and keep up the good work. I'll have my order for the mats in as soon as I get paid.

Eeeeep!
I know we had a great group buy day... it worked out great for everyone. I'd say that it would probably be a good idea to get an order in soon because with the price of oil going up, most rubber and rubber goods are effected by the price of oil... just delayed a little bit. I haven't gotten a notice of a price increase yet, but you never know what tomorrow brings. Not until I get notification of a price increase will I adjust my pricing though :)

Thanks,
Tony

My Element is named Pugnacious, not me.

In any case I want to let everyone know that there is a company that still makes customer service their top priority, Murdock!

I ordered the full cargo mat for my new E and received one that had the chair cutouts in the wrong place.

One phone call, and a new mat was at my door two days later.

Great mat.

Great service.

Great Company.

I wish you great success!

The capitalist swine in me believes that 7 posts in 2 days expressing interest in a mat doesn't exactly prompt a business to lower its price for promotional purposes:-).

But I will say that its a good product and is a fair value, especially given the costs of most other automotive accessories. Besides, its not like Murdock has any competition anyway, so perhaps the supply and demand curves have intersected at the current price. Naturally, for the benefit of the "matless masses", I would love to be proven wrong.

Front mats...front mats...I want to buy a front mat. Seriously though...hope these will be out soon...'cause the rear mats rock!

bjave

Soon, Soon... I want to make sure we do them right... have that reputation thing to live up to now :)

Group buy day was a one time event... sorry guys and gals but I don't make that much on these and I was basicly paying for the labor and a couple extra nickles to rub together...

Probably in mid october we'll be upping the pricing due to the increased oil prices... so if you're interested in getting them, now's the time.

However, when we do make available the front seat mat (one piece)- they'll be discounted for the first week as a promotional kickoff. They're not going to be super cheap either... because of the material costs of a 3/8" sponge rubber backed material. I'm working on getting costs down at the moment.

Oh, and there's a little something I'm working on that will be unvieled at the time of their availability. It's cool. But then again, I think ice is cool.

Um, yea.

And for anyone reading that is waiting on an order hovering around the 2 week mark SOooooooooooooooorrrrrrrryyyyy. It's hard to believe but it buggs me too. I came in last weekend for 8 hours making mats... they are coming!!! I've been out of town in meetings, Tom's took 2 days to celebrate his 1st year wedding anniversary (congrats on the one year mark, many more to come.) And this Wednesday I'm leaving again, so we're tying to get back to about a week delivery. With that said... please believe me, we're working on them- I try to return emails asap... I run an 18 person company with over 5 million in sale annually and these are a little labor intesive so it take a little time to get them right. And that is my goal, quality before speed.

** another important note **
If you've ordered the cargo mat from us in the past and not on our new system - please join as a member on www.elemmat.com (http://www.elemmat.com) - I will be making the announcement of the front mat from there and also hopefully be including a special offer to modify your existing mat... don't want to go into it in detail but trust me... you'll want to know about it. Good stuff.

Thanks,
Tony

can you order the Z style like the Ridge for the E?

bjave
09-28-2005, 06:19 PM
I can do it, the cost on that would be $239.00 - becuase of the time, toughness of the material, and additional material costs. I haven't made one to know how it behaves in an Element... but it is a stiffer material which might not allow it to lay as flat as the current materials. I do have a little bit of the Black Traxx material that I can make about 7 more and then they're not available anymore... If you want one, let me know.

Do not order this from our website until you have cleared with me that the material is still abailable. I don't want to sell more than I have material. The date of the posting is 9/28/05

Tony

I ordered the material to do the front mats today and it will be shipped to our warehouse in about a week and a half to two weeks. I was going to start taking orders before I got the material but I'm going to hold off on allowing orders until the material is IN HAND. I've gotten bit by that one a couple times already :)

ARe the fronts going to be available in all the same styles as the rear cargo mats?

bjave
09-28-2005, 09:07 PM
We have had sooooo many requests for the front mats that I'm afraid of not having enough material to get to the first batch of them, so I am going to be offering them as a pre-sale item - and with the full knowledge that they will not be shipping until around October 14th. They will be made and shipped in queue form- first in first out...

If I know I'm going to need more material, it's better to know as soon as possible. Please place your order for the front mats at your earliest convenience from www.elemmat.com (http://www.elemmat.com/)

We've have created a sale price until the 14th with $10 off so that everyone that was part of the Group Buy day can take advantage of this special price.

The truth is that if you like the Cargo Mat, you will absolutely love the look (and protection) of the E when this mat is installed. It is super thick and stays in place, pulls the rest of the pieces together, and is nice and soft foam rubber backed which prevents slipping and gives the mat the needed strength to stay in place.

If some have been holding off on purchasing the complete set until it included the front mat, the pricing will be the same as if you took advantage of this sale along with the already discounted complete set. I won't be updating the site until October 14th with the complete set - so to get your order started please purchase the complete set and the additional front floor mat which will be the same pricing.

A black diamond front mat isn't available as the writing of this post. It will be in the future.

If there is any concern, please use paypal for your credit card transactions, I am currently working with a programmer to get our ssl certificate up and running, however, from my understanding with all the passwords and protective nature of the software we are using, it offers very secure and offers a strongly guarded transaction.

We have had something like 3 people email with this concern too, we used paypal as the secured payment method.

Hey,

I know the shipping is more than USPS, but I lost too many orders in the beginning 2 years ago by shipping priority mail. I believe our system is set up to add $3 for handling and then compute the exact charges... so for Columbus OH it may be $8.60 to ship, where as Portland OR it may be $12.60 - something like that-

The advantages are that it is insured, it is tracked, and in the last two years I've only had 2 problems... which is a pretty good track record.

The pricing for shipping the larger mats is fairly reasonable IMHO - ending up a good bit lower than the original $24.95 we were originally shipping at. (depending on where you are...)

Are there any plans to offer the front mat in the black diamond pattern? How about a full one-piece mat, connecting around (or underneath) the existing center console?

Are there any plans to offer the front mat in the black diamond pattern? How about a full one-piece mat, connecting around (or underneath) the existing center console?

I'm still working on the Black Diamond pattern for the front mat... The Black and Grey steel both have a 2 year delamination guarantee, where as the Diamond pattern does not. I'd say we're about a month away from making the Black Diamond available.

On the connecting around from the front area to the back area, I can't see how to route the mat without major changes such as removing the seats etc... Which most people would be willing to do. The way that our mats are designed not, you just pull them out of the box and set them in place, the material stays in place becuase of the cut and materials used.

Thanks,
Tony

Tony, I just got my E today and I already knew these would be a quickly ordered accessory. I put my dog in the back for him to check out his new digs and wanted to see how slippery it would be for him... That has been addressed and I will be ordering a rear mat (not sure which size I'll get though). Then my dog identified an issue I hadn't thought of: The claws on the sills under the side and rear window glass. These will be trashed in no time as he can't see out with standing on them. I used your contact system on your site to send the request for peices for this area, but wanted to post here also to see how many other owners would be interested in a product like this. I

'm thinking a piece that sits on the sill and wraps over the edge approximately the same distance as the depth of the sill. This waya small amount of double sided tape or hook and loop could be used to adhere it at the edges. Am I alone with this desire?

I just got my front mat in, and it looks nice! The only complaint I have is that the mat needs to go under the plastic holding up the front seats. On the passenger side there is enough room, but the drivers side didn't have a large gap. i had to squeeze the mat to get it under the plastic.

Hi Guys,

The large flexible back mat floats into position and should cover then entire area... sliding it even a 1/4" one way or another should set it into position. If it's got a little gap, try tugging on one of the ears in the back to have it seat. The mat is so close to the exact contour of the back that a little setting is necessary for it to lay correctly, but once set, stays put and protects the entire cargo area.

As it gets colder, the mat gets a little stiffer- allow it to relax for a day or two while driving and the heat in the Element will allow it to seat also.

The both of you sounded happy with the overall coverage and layout of the mat, and thank you for your purchase! The front mat is about the same - it is heavier because of the rubber foam backing and once placed it will stay securely in it's location, but still provide easy removal for cleaning and mantainence.

Have a great day!
Tony

Did you have to put the mat under the plastic by the front seats? My mat wouldn't lay flat until I did that.

On the passenger side, the mat did need to go below the plastic thing (on the door side), but there was like a 1" gap that the mat slid easily into. On the drivers side it didn't hit any plastic at all. I guess it went in so easily that I didn't even notice the plastic pieces.

Okay, here are some pictures of my front mats (not sure how to do this, so I hope it works)....

[Left photo is the drivers side and the Right photo is the passenger side]

As you can see from the photos the plastic things on either side next to the doors have plenty of clearance for the mat.

The ones near the middle of the car (the one on the passenger side is cut off) the mat does not fit under but just butts up against.

Like I said in my previous message I didn't have any problems installing my mats, but just assumed that the other poster meant these plastic things that stick down from the chair.

Hope this helps.

Full mat plus front mat is the way I read it too, however, I just want to make sure - still have not heard back from murdock mats. I sent them another e-mail today. The Web site should say if you need if you need to buy a full set and the front mat or just the full set . . . <SIGH>

The "complete" set flatly states that the full front mat is sold separately. The other categories include full back and full front. But it could be clearer. It's a small business and the front mat is a brand new product. I'm sure they'll read this and learn that they need to clarify better on their web page -- good of you to point that out. I haven't gotten the front mat, yet. Sure do like the rest of them -- excellent workmanship and effect. Looks better than the floor it comes with.

The front mat is sold separately at the time being. The complete set was available before we even came up with the final design for the front mat and we have to had time to update the site... I tried to put it as one of the first lines in the details of the complete set... it should be there, but I appologize that it does get a little lost in the amount of data that we give out.

I think I'm going to have to hire you HC as a liason :) thanks for the clarification.

Here are pics before and after I squeeze the mat underneath the plastic. There is plenty of room for the mat closest to the doors, but the plastic closest to the emergency brake doesn't leave a lot of room. The pics don't show it well, but the mat is approximately squeezed almost flat to get under the plastic. The front of the mat is pushed right up against the subwoofer, so the mat has to go under the plastic.

Just ordered the front mat in black steel. This will complete my Elemat collection (front, back, tailgate, tray & cup holders). Will post pics of it all in my GGM when the front arrives, hopefully next week.

Washed the E today and have hefted that OEM front mat out for the last time. That thing is clunky and an aesthetic zero. With this new Elemat front mat, there is no alternative, IMHO.

Put the front Elemat in today (black steel). Love it!!! Exceeded my high expectations. Much thicker than I expected, I wonder if that helps with sound (not that I have a high standard on road noise, having come to the E from a Miata). Here are some pics. The first thing I notice is that I need to wipe down the older rear mat. FYI the cup in the cup holder: that's a neat and new little find, too. A Thermos-brand holder for 12 oz. cans, it purports to keep your beverage cold 10 times longer. Had already ordered one on-line and then got another at Target yesterday where they sell them for $9 or so. Maybe $10, I can't remember exactly.

Hey Tony! Absolutly lovin' the Elemmats! It's nice to have the front, back, tailgate and liners all matching now. It looks perfect. THANKS!

When it snowed all last week here in Cleveland, it was nice to get in the Element without too much worry about the snow and salt. So last night I lifted up the corner of the front mat (to show someone how nice and thick it is).... and the whole underside is soaked! I thought I pulled it as tight to each side as I could, but some snow/water is still going to find it's way around. Since it's (finally) above freezing today I pulled out the mat to air dry... but do you think that could be a problem throughout the winter? I'd hate to have mold growing on the underside or something. Could there be long term damage to the mat if it's wet most of the winter? Any suggestions would be great.
THANKS!

As far as the front mat...

The material we make the front mat (and the back for that matter) are made from materials designed to be used for high traffic and outdoor weathering. Although the mats are new for us, the materials used are time tested.

The Sponge used on the front floor mat is open cell sponge but that doesn't mean that it's open all the way through the mat, it means that in manufacture the sponge has a little larger holes than what is considered closed cell sponge. And they do not absorb... sponge is referring to the fact that it has pockets of air to give it the cushion.

Although this is the first winter for our product, other than it getting dirty like e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g else... it should remain easy to clean by just pulling it out and hosing it off. Any and all comments are welcome on what they think of the front mat. The more feedback the better.

Thanks!
Tony

Note also that I know it is gift giving season so I have ramped up our stock and have been shipping quickly on all of the recent orders to make sure that they are in time for under the trees. Last year it was tight but we came through, this year - it should be easier and made sure that everyone is covered.

If you get the moment and haven't had a chance to write a review on your Murdock Mat with the www.elemmat.com (http://www.elemmat.com) site yet - I've been sending out the key-ring protectors free postage paid as a thank you. I love to read positive comments on our products and get feedback from all the great people on the site that I've have the pleasure of dealing with.

Question about the Elemmat site? Does the checkout cart use SSL?

In about 4 weeks we're going live with a new site that will have SSL however if there is any question on a secure transaction just use paypal. Our site is password protected and the only thing that SSL does is encript the data between the host and the user. It is a matter of preference at the moment but soon :) we will have ssl (it is coming with a package that we are upgrading to)

Thanks!

The Heavy Duty is a mat all to itself. I found a source for 1/4" thick heavy bus liner that was wide enough to make the back mat from. Someone had a miniture horse farm and that was the whole reason for the heavy duty. Would say that the front mat in Black Diamond with a Black Diamond tray liner would accessorize it well if you're going to do up the front too-

I just received my front and rear cargo area carpets from www.elemmat.com and they are truly perfect. Unbelievable quality and attention to detail. The fit and finish is perfect and the carpet is super thick. The tray liners that come with the package are very cool and not only protect your dash but add a great deal to the aesthetics of your interior. Murdock Industrial is practically in my back yard...

Tony, I'll be making a visit down to Akron soon. Lake County isn't that far from the Rubber City.

Ironically, when I was in college, I worked for Ohio Rubber in my hometown of Willoughby and had custom mats made for my '79 Capri Turbo. ORCo made mats for Mack and a number of other trucks.

I need an Elemmat for my rear cargo area. I have the Element OEM rubber for the front and rear seating areas.

Couple questions:

1) Has anyone gone through a full winter with the mats ?
curious to see if they collect water underneath?
I have some cheap mats the dealer gave me when I bought my E in December and the interior wreaks because of them soakin up the water.

2) I live in North Canton and can easily stop by Murdock Industrial.
Do you guys have an area in the shop where you can buy at?
Meaning if i show up there will they be able to sell me the product or do I need to ask for somebody specifically?
Do you have any of the mats on display there ?

3) if anybody has pics of the black diamond mats installed, could you please post them. Would like to see how it looks in the car

Any help is appreciated

I've been checking out these elemmats and am trying to decide which one to get. Any advice? I've got the 2007 Tangerine color E.

Also, have a question about the tailgate mat...How does that stay in place when the tailgate is up? Or doesn't it?

Viziblenoize
07-04-2007, 04:18 PM
I bought the black steel full set. The tailgate mat can slide underneath the back mat when not used. I keep about half the tailgate mat out and it rests up against the tailgate pretty neatly. I have a battery jumper/aircompressor that I keep in the back and leave it up against the tailgate. The tailgate mat protects the tailgate from damage from accidental sliding of the battery jumper/aircompressor. The mats prevent any sliding of anything you place in the back, the added protection of the tailgate mat is nice.
I had difficulty with the front mat fitting flush. I called elemmat and they had another UPS'd to me in two days time...no hassles and very cordial on the phone! Best investment I've made for my element so far!

Hi Guys:

Luckily I have this site marked to let me know when new messages are posted. Geeze. The reason the tray liners took a little longer was because confirmation of payment from paypal goes to my email and I was out of town for a couple days... Which if you look at how long we've been a member of Paypal (I think 2001) and we still have an open account which means that we've always come through for our customers.

But, so, anyway, I really hate when we get a little bashed because we really do try, and for the most part we succeed, and I hope Maiku does come back and post that yesterday after we learned that his order was delayed because of me, I changed his shipping method to second day air just to make sure that he got it quickly - and that way it was there by Friday.

I love my Element, love to see Element owners driving around and we're a unique breed - I try to keep everyone happy and do right when I can - so I'm sorry if there was a delay and I tried to rectify the situation as quickly and positively as I could. As far as the freight charges, the mats ship UPS only due to way too many packages lost by the US mail. When you add the standard shipping charge, fuel surcharge, packaging and handling it comes out to that amount, and we've only had one problem in the last 5 years shipping UPS, so I don't want to change for our sake and yours.

Drive safe and thank you! See you on the road!

I have to say the guys at Elemmat are great. They worked with me on getting my mat ordered (for an 07 SC). Great people to deal with.

I got tired of waiting and ordered the OEM mats from H & A, should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think of them.

Pity that this section of the forum is sponsored by Elemmat but they do virtually nothing to keep us informed about their products. Oh well, their loss.

I haven't heard back from them and I e-mailed them last week.

OEM mats arrived yesterday from HandA. Took about 20 minutes to install (mostly to attach the anchors). They fit as they should and look good. Only time and use will tell how durable they are. For now, I'm satisfied.

I would have bought the Elemmats if they were available or if they could have given me an ETA on production. But, after e-mailing, PMs, and phone calls without getting any info, I gave up on Elemmat. I like to support the vendors that sponsor this site like HandA and Elemmat but it's a two way street. So far I'm very happy with the service I have received from HandA and have ordered from them three times now. From what I have seen so far, it seems Elemmat does not care about potential customers. Which leaves me to wonder how they treat their current customers?

What gives Elemmat? You sponsor this section of the forum and the last time you post here is in December to push Christmas sales and nothing since. I know there are some 09 owners that are interested in your products but there is no info to be had.

I still think the cargo mat is the best upgrade I ever did for my '08 EX. I haven't had as much luck with the front mat, though.

I took it out for the first time since I installed it last Summer while I was doing a thorough cleaning of the interior. The rubber surface was pulling back from the foam and it was wet underneath. When it rains or snows, water gets under there and really has no way of drying out in a reasonable time. I know their customer service is great, but I'm not sure I want to exchange the front mat for more of the same. I liked the thickness of the foam, though. I'm wondering what front alternatives there are..besides OEM?

The SC and 2009 versions are now shipping!!! I have to update the site to allow for their purchase which I hope to get to this weekend. We had some Email problems with our email from the EOC going to an incorrect email address, sorry.

The discount code for EOC members is EOC10 which you enter at checkout. Pictures of the 2009 Elemmat that fits around the new cooler area can be found here:

I just ordered a complete set plus the tailgate protector today for the '05 Element EX I bought last week. Can't wait to install it. *I* take good care of my vehicles, but my dh (who refuses to drive anything other than a 2-seat convertible) likes to use my cars as haulers.

The one with the 4 circles, are you trying to give me a heart attack???? :) That would be really cool though - If you're willing to invest about $500 in the die to cut it out because of all the pieces in it.... and get the EOC approval for it... heck.... I'm all for it too!!!

And for the pictures... you might be able to see better in the high quality youtube videos we have up, just make sure you're not on standard quality when watching it.

I prefer the black steel version... it goes with every interior. The grey is o.k. but visually I think the black works better. We had a vendor that made a darker grey but they changed thier formula to lighter and I can't change it back.

Hope that helps :)

See, personal mod journal, page 2 ;)

pics, blah blah blah pics, etc. Its weird how in the pics the black steel looks so much different from the plastic but thats probably just due to texture... Rubber doesnt shine like the plastic or whatever... Im VERY happy though. Thanks again ;)

There it is... the sides look a little squished up on the side... but thats just because i hadnt got the placement right just yet... run your hand along the sides to "Set" it and shes flat as kansas.

So far so AWESOME! Rubber material doesnt feel all that sticky but if the item has any weight whatsoever, its not going anywhere.

100% satisfactory. If i got another E... id get one for it as well.

I just tried to Order online. It would not let the sale go through and at the top in red letters, said they could not ship to my area.

I don't know how to capture the screen shot but here is what is on top and I tried again this morning.

1 Customer Information 2 Shipping & Coupons 3 Review & Payment 4 Confirm Order
Sorry, we do not currently ship to the location that you have entered.

So I am guessing, something is up with the check out cart?

This video I think sold me. Wish I had gotten the tailgate protector bout a week ago. Went on a camping trip and some of the (un)loading scratched it up =\.

I noticed on the site in the descriptions that the front mats are 3/8", what is the thickness of the back, tailgate, and tray/cup mats?

Don't worry about the tailgate protector the plastic piece is only like 40 bucks to replace.

I LOVE MY ELEMMAT BTW!!!

Bought it used (looked brand new). My dog has so much grip he now likes to car surf and lean into all the turns without slipping or falling at all.

I know its a little off topic, but you wouldn't happen to have/know where to get the part number would you? I've seen the little white sticker under spare tire cover (may look to replace that too), but didn't try to pry enough of the tailgate cover to check on that.
