Yes.....purchased my 2005 E RTAWD Nigththawk Black Pearl on June 25th. Here are some pics.
I like the fact that they make the Nigththawk Black Pearl E w/ darker panels - a major plus. I've seen the black E w/ lighter panels and wasn't sold.
Congrats. You'll learn as the rest of us that those panels are difficult to get use to at the car wash. I'd educate yourself on the various products and techniques used to keep them looking good in the detailing section. I do infact like the darker panels on the NBP element. Good buy!

Yeah, TyJ - I know exactly what you mean. I took my baby for a bath and made the mistake of having them apply Armor All to my tires. The Armor All wasn't the problem....it was the fact that it sprayed all over my panels. It left noticeable spots all over the panels. Never again!!! I only get an exterior wash now. And, when I get home, I apply the Armor All......CAREFULLY
As far as the panels are concerned, I got my free sample of 303 the other day and will try that on an inconspicuous area to see how it looks.

Be sure to use the 303 sparingly, " a little goes a long way " is an understatement for the stuff. If you apply too much to the panels they will streak or become a little blotchy looking after a rain.
Congrats on the E too. I'm somewhat familiar with Edison NJ...Industrial Ave to be specific. I used to work for a company that had a division there and sometimes had to go on Saturdays for classes and/or meetings.

Welcome!!
I too like the look of the black/black. Black was my third choice, but I wasn't crazy about the grey panels 'back then'.

Word of advise - DON'T USE ARMORALL!!!!!
Read the posts in the exterior and cleaning sections. There are much better products available, that do a much better job, and don't contain silicone, which can eat away at plastic. I wouldn't even use it on my tires, there are much better products out there. Anyone remember the name of the tirecleaner we all won at the National? That does a great job?

Thanks, timvance.
I think Mcguire's (sp?) or 303 were the preferred products. BTW....I'm heading to Toronto in a few weeks.....a few days after the NJ E-meet. I'll be looking out for you. :-D

Sure, give a call, maybe we can meet up for 'coffee' or something. We'll see about getting hold of some of the TO'ers, and maybe meet up.
(as long as it's not the long weekend - were going North to mom's place)

I'll ask my girlfriend about hotel accommodations....she's always in charge of that stuff  I'll let you know, maybe it's close by.
Yeah.....if I can break away (I'll be w/ three others), I'll let you know!
