This is my first attempt at posting pics to this forum--so please bear with me. I read the FAQ, but couldn't find any info on the size requirements for pics. I processed them WAY down to 320x213 pixels. We'll see if they are viewable. It looks like I can only do three at a time. So, I'll choose three, and if they work out, I'll post a few more. Here goes. The first picture doesn't show the element, but it is a small stream and large puddle we managed to cross (no other choice) on Weston Pass Road.

Okay, I think I have a good size picked. Here's a few more, including one of a Marmot who didn't seem to like the look of our E as we drove by. The second picture is at the summit of Weston Pass Road, if you look closely, you can see it was over 11,000 feet. The E was GREAT! The last picture was taken in the Snowy Range of Medicine Bow Mountain.

After you upload your initial 3 images, you can call up the image manager and add a couple more. Images 300 wide tend to display 2 side by side. 500 wide displays in a single column. 70% jpeg compression seems to leave enough detail at these sizes.

Thanks for the info. I see what you mean. Instead of adding a few here and there, I thought I'd just give you the link to my site where most of the best pics are there.

Let me know what you think.

I passed some your pictures through Shadow Illuminator, and did a bit of cropping.

Brightening the shadows in your 'steep rocks' photo show the road dropping steeply down the hill.

Hey, thanks paul. I can't use that particular plug-in because I have a Mac, but it did seem to really help the rocky road pic. You are right, it was steep, and very rocky. After we got to the east side of the pass, there was a sign for travelers heading west, which said, "the road on the western side of the pass is not maintained...." DOH! Now you tell us! Actually, we were glad there wasn't a sign like that, or we would not have attempted the climb on the other side, and I am glad we did.

The marmot is looking at the camera (at least in image posted on his web site):
