Well, the Element came in real handy for our move. Boy can it fit alot inside. Friends couldn't believe all that would fit in it. I love it!

heres my master plan: the next time I move, I have to be able to fit everything I own into my E in one trip.... Simplicity!

Shhh. Don't tell everyone. I've owned pick up trucks and it seems that you're everyone's best friend on moving day.

Loving the sun roof use, I have my E full of stuff for my dorm, I had to stuff everything in for one trip, 5 hour drive.

Very creative.

Has anyone heard of an Element stuffing contest? You know like people used to do with Beetles to see how many people they could fit inside?

I just compare the specs of my dad's honda odessy (sp) and my element. The oddessy has a larger engine, can tow 2000lb more than the element's. and it costs about the same and a more comfortable ride (rear AC, etc). anyway I figure with the oddessy and the element we won't have to have to hire a moving company if we move to another house or something.

Yes, but do you really want to be driving an Oddy? I mean, unless you are a housewife with a string of soccer kids....

That being said...as soon as I pay off my E, I am buying an Oddy too! (and I don't have kids..just a string of show/performance dogs to haul everywhere).

Not more than 675 lbs. I hope.

I'd be real careful driving w/ an over-loaded E, especially cuz much load can be place high in the vehicle, and movers will likely have some cargo on the roof.

Or you could get one of the Scion family...most are rated about 850 lbs.

I guess this is what happens when lawyers get too involved w/ car-making.

Or maybe Honda was still scared about those bad Odyssey trans locking up on the hwy. and what could have happened in liability lawsuits.
