Just trying to make sure I am not missing something. Why can't a person listen to the radio with the doors open without the ding ding going off? I was adding a split 12v plug for my Creative Zen Extra MP3 player and wanted to listen to some tunes. But noooooooooooooo the darn ding ding was killing me.

That's funny, I'm using the stock EX HU and no dings here with any of the doors open (engine on/off).

Could be due to my aftermarket alarm maybe?
