Talking about the manufacter's recommendation of changing the oil every 10,000 miles/1 year. Sounds too long to me, but what the hell do i know :?: How often will you do it.

I'm taking mine in at 5000. They recommend this for Extreme conditions, but even though I live in OH, I don't want to wait until 10000 miles.

Up here in Calgary, Alberta, the Dealer recomends every 6000 km,(About 3700 miles)

I think that 10,000 miles is way too long under any conditions. I'm doing mine at 5k, and even that seems like stretching it based on every other car...
