Well, now that I am all set to begin installing the aftermarket system sitting in my office and avoiding the cat, my fiance has now decided that she wants to be able to cruise in comfort and watch The OC DVDs on road trips, AND she loves the XM thing.
I work in home audio, and have made good use in certain situations of devices that switch sources into one input.
My Mcintosh head unit has one AUX input. For my own personal usage, that would simply be the iPod. Now that the lil lady is intent on video entertainment, and I am unwilling to scrap the Mac system for Alpine etc, does anyone know of a company that produces such a switching device for 12 volt?
If so, I could plug iPod, a DVD player, and an XM unit into the switcher and run them all through my AUX input. That would be pretty cool, actually. THe video end of it is more complicated, as I need monitors and such - and my installer is well equipped to streamline any system I can dream of.
WHo makes it, and where can I get it!
