Just called the Honda Visitors Info line 1-888-291-8687 and the automated message said that all plants tours had been suspended. There was no reason given, but maybe if we start contacting Honda, we might be able to generate some interest.

Just a little more info. Just got off the phone with Honda Corp. and they have no date as to when plant tours will again be available, but I was able to leave my contact information. They said that someone would contact me when they reopen the tours if not sooner.

Oh DAMN. What a shame! It must be a security related thing. :cry:

I was really thinking that if we could see the plant, I'd make time and go do it. I was going to do something like ....I don't know...bake cookies for everyone who worked on the assembly line. Really.

And think how nice it would be for the workers to see the real people who drive the cars they work so hard on, and to know that their work is appreciated?

:idea: You know, even though we can't visit, it might be nice if all of us sent them Christmas cards, with pictures of our Es. Or something like that. :idea:
