Hello!! FINALLY A THREAD FOR MOUNTAINEERS!! I'm in Charleston but also own a house in Logan...about 50 miles south (not sure if you're familiar with the area). I bought my 2010 E in April last year & my girl has been on more road trips than I could count. Last summer we (myself, hubby, & on occasion-3 rescued dogs) were hitting Virginia Beach every other weekend. Morgantown is a favorite & frequent trip for my E girl. We usually end up at one of the lakes on the way or go into PA before heading home. My sister lives in NC, that roadtrip is always around the corner. But, if your looking for a roadtrip E...my girl never stands in one place long! :) I see a few E's here in Charleston now & then...unfortunately I'm the only owner I know. I've been looking for a fellow West Virginian to talk Element & compare E's & stories. Give me a shout...my girl loves to tear up road miles in spring!!

I live in the East End near the Capital. I seem to be seeing a lot more Elements in the past couple of years. Was really sad to see the Element discontinued.

Whoa - this is quite a necro thread.

Regardless, hi all.

Yeah, West Virginia scares me.. I always think of that Wrong Turn movie. ;) And in all fairness, I'm not on the East Coast by choice haha

I read that the Airbus that did a water land in the Hudson is crossing WV by truck. Would be cool to catch a picture close to it.
