Hey! The West Texas summertime climate is beginning to kick into full swing down here and I need some protection for my poor E's dash when I have to leave it parked out in the full sun.

Anyone tried the "Heatshield windshield shade" that's $18.60 over at www.handa-accessories.com? I know that some of the folks over at another Element site have posted positive things about the $32 "IntroTech Sunshade" that's available at www.hondacuraworld.com but, well, I'm cheap. I'd be ever so happy with saving $15 bucks by going with the Heatshield and spending that on other cool accessories instead.

I used this brand in my '99 Si, the 2k2 Si and now my E. They are manufactured at HeatShield (http://info.canvasworks.com/main.html)

I bought a standard accordian one at pep boys some time ago. I put it in the Element and it fits perfect. Wish I remember what brand... all I can tell you is that it's blue on one side. You shouldn't have to buy a custom shape, the windshield is pretty much a perfect rectangle.

I bought the shade from H & A for the Element and it works great. Rolls up nicely and fits that huge windshield perfectly. It is worth the $20.

I also purchased the shade from from H & A. I compared with a generic one at Target and the one from H & A was not much more.
