Sorry, I'll disagree. Not a bad looking car but certainly nothing to write home about. Just seems like a waste given they could have started with a clean slate. Too generically Accordish. Nice interior and features though.

I just came home from a dealers only event....and to be honest you have to see it up close to really get a good feel for this car......and man does she run good threw the cones.....and we only had 4 doors...cant wait for the coupe.

I would like the 2 door version as for looks. 4 door would be a rental for me maybee(If they didn't have an Element to rent). Red is cool. If I had the money to buy one of these along with my E I would just buy another E.....Wooooop-E..........I am 6' 3" tall though and hate cars because I have to bend like a pretzel to get in. Cars suck! Sorry I did not have your back on this 100% bigred1.

bigred1....Hey change your signature. You just got your front windows tinted. Sweet! :)

I think it's a step in the right direction visually, but still the only thing that would be steering me towards it if I was in the market for another compact is Honda's reliability.

In the end I still think it is still a bit too conservatively styled for my taste, but you really cant tell until you have a chance to walk around it a few times.

Personally i thought it looked more like the Acura TL more than the Accord.

The Accord in my opinion has always been a nice looking. Then again i also like the Camry body style. Just like Honda craftmanship better. Anyway, to each their own. Wonder what changes will be brought to the E on the next overhaul?? Can't wait to see.

No argument that both the Accord and Acura are nice looking cars but the fact that the Civic looks like them is precisely my point. Honda had an opportunity to design a new Civic from scratch and took the easy way out.

The Civic used to be a much more utilitarian vehicle (available in hatch, wagon, coupe and sedan styles) but Honda seems to think that everyone now wants a Accord/Acura/Camry clone sedan and a fairly luxurious one at that. The price of the new Civic is definitely NOT one of its impressive features.

Toyota is also a very conservative company but I bought a Matrix when I was in the market for an economy car. It is essentially a Corolla with a different (and IMO more useful) body style.

I went back an looked at interior. Dash does look like a fighter plane. Ha,ha,ha.....

Don't get me wrong. If I was shorter this would be a fantastic car. I have seen a red one on the showroom floor and it look does look way better in person. :) No suicide doors. :-x maybee the doors could both open like a Lambo or other trick sportcar doors. Then Honda you will have had me at Hello  .
