hello all....got my element (04',SMM) 2 months ago and am finally getting around to choosing a satellite radio system for it...decided on sirius....anyway, can any e owners let me know what type of sirius receiver they may have purchased,where they mounted it,etc. .....i'm looking for a little advice(what to look for, avoid, etc.)....i'm interested in the starmate replay b/c of the features and its compact size....i know the more expensive S50 is down the road, is that worth the extra $$, etc. .....how many mp3 songs will it hold etc. .....also, do the suction cup mounts really work.....anyway, open for advice....thanks....ddp68

The radio works fine. I have had some issues with the remote control. I need to call their tech dept. to talk to them but haven't got around to it. But I have the previous model so it may be a bug they fixed. The only change is the trim on mine is shiny chrome-like instead of grey. I just mounted the suction cup mount to the flat trim above the vents above the radio and the suction hasn't failed for the 3 months I have had it installed. I am looking to possibly get the bracketron bezel mount for a little cleaner look.

You can buy the radio at a few places. Wal-Mart, Target, Sam's Club to name a few. It is around $75.

If it were me, I would go with the new Starmate. A little more expensive but looks like a much better unit.
