So i'm home for fall break and i decided to wash, wax, 303, and rain-X my element before the cold hit. I had just wiped off the wax and was 303ing the panels when a bird flew right into my door about 2 feet away from me. I guess thats a pretty good way to see just how clean your car looks! I thought it was hilarious and thought i would share...too bad i had to wipe off the door again... :roll:

No But i did have a duck land on the hood of my brand new 1973 VW thing wile i was driveing at about 35 MPH ! He must have thought it was a moveing pond !!

when i was driving my 87 pathfinder a few years ago on the interstate a flock of pidgeons flew up and one of them was cut in half by my antenna, I know it was in half because half of it landed on my front passenger seat, feathers were swirling inside and i flicked what was left of the bird back out the window

I saw some pics of a goose trying to pick a fight with his/her reflection in a polished door (black corvette I think).
I think it was on the Zaino site or maybe just an owner and user of Zaino. Zaino does give mirror like finish (if that is your thing).

Nothing gives away a persons age better than talking about his brand new VW thing!

Hmm, never had problems with the car, but lived in a house that faced out onto a golf course once. Heard a loud thud on the sliding glass door, thought for sure a golfer hit it. Went outside to look for the ball and found a peregrine dazed on the ground instead. Must of thought its reflection was another bird and tried to knock it out. It didn't stay dazed for long, but man it was hilarious!

birds -

'way backwhen moon/sun roofs were new - a former boyfriend was showing off his fancy car. We stopped by the Little Tavern for hamburgers. We put the bag of hamburgers in the center console. I ate mine, BF was too busy fiddling with radio to eat his until . . . passing buzzard (I think) dropped a bird bomb through the sun roof onto BF's burger . . .
BF was NOT happy - partly because I "forgot" to inform him about the added condament on his lunch . . :D

i guess thats why he's a "former" boyfriend :roll:
