I don't like blow people off by just telling them to search, but that is exactly what you need to do. There are PLENTY of threads about this subject in this forum alone: http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23

Look around a bit and absorb the information. And by the way, if there was a dealer handling this section, and there isn't, why would you ask him about detailing your vehicle?

The Meguires Mirror Glaze Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner Conditioner 40 --whew that's a long product name-- is excellent, provides UV protection also. I've used Aerospace 303 and although it's an excellent product it requires more buffing to prevent steaking when wet.

I recently read in this thread about using Murphy's oil soap on the composite panels. I admit I was skeptical.........well, have to tell ya, it works really well. After application and wipe-off of Murphy's, I use Turtle Wax F21 protectant to give them a wet look. Looks sharp on my black panels.
Thought I'd pass it on.........

Interesting idea...others will have to try this.

I wonder if it would work on other plastic external pieces (on other vehicles) as well?
