I'm going to upload a picture showing the left rear area
where the painted panel meets the upper metal panel in the
rear tail light area.

You see some orange peel in the photo but the paint feels smooth
on the lower panel and the refection is equal to metal painted area.
The lower panel is not textured like the unpainted panels..
The lower panel is plastic but smooth to the touch..

Hope this works...first picture for me to try and post..

Cool pics....I lost in Vegas sooooo, I only have one "E". Had planned on winning big and getting the Tango "E" also.

This is really nice. I feel like I'm at the dealership taking these pics. Almost! :)

You did good.

The First picture I was trying to show that the paint is very
reflective on the Plastic panels and that the panels are smooth.
They don't have a textured surface like the unpainted surface.

I'm narrowing down my colors for the one I want to buy..

Now to find the Kiwi green and the Tangerine and I will decide.
Oh and the Rallye Red is running in first place at the moment
even though it only comes with unpainted panels..
I like the Rallye Red with the black panels..

We drove the Rallye Red in a 2005 AWD EX Auto Trans today and the
Wife likes the way it drives...So I'm half way there.. She has the Check
book..!!!!

Will probably get the 2006 model though for the added warranty
on Drive Train...
Audio Controls on Steering wheel is also nice...

Enjoy the pictures...

Hey Ron,

Thanks for the pics. Could you tell me what about the 2006 warranty is better than the 2005?? I have just started researching!

Thanks

Hey JoeBoxer!

Thanks for the info! And for the info about faxing, that was you wasn't it? I have info on that from Fighting Chance, so I do know how that "Fax Attack" works. My main worry is that they won't have the color I want!

Every dealer will have Kiwi at some point. I doubt it will be the most popular color so I would guess it should be easy to find once dealers get stocked up. How soon do you need to buy? Remember you can always rent something for a month if you have to and the money you save on your new purchase will cover the rent and then some if you are a good shopper!

Hey Joeboxer,

I don't NEED (LOL LOL) to buy at all. I have a 2001 Stratus with only...14,000 miles on it. (Don't drive far to work!) I want more room to haul my furkids, three very spoiled corgis! And I have like the look of the E's since they first came out.

Hey, I tried to cure the fever today. I bought a new pair of glasses. The frames are almost the same green that the Kiwi is in the brochure! And they came with an orange (not quite tangerine!) case.

HA HA HA!!! Try Missouri, just a midwest girl all my life!

But I have a thing about colors!

I would miss the winters living anywhere that was sunny all year round, plus it is a great reason to get the EX AWD.

I see joeboxer answered your question Kiwiwannabe..about warranty

I have been keeping up with joe's post also so I can do the best
I can on a deal..

I don't have to buy today but do have the fever and would like
to have a New Element by Christmas.

Good luck on your search and joeboxer keep the suggestions
coming...

Thanks
