Anyone try this stuff? I guess it is a solution you spray on your windows before an ice storm hits and it keeps the precip as a slush that you can clear off easier. I keep my E outside and don't mind a little scraping of windows, but if I could save myself some effort......

I already figured out to use 2gallon ziploc freezer bags over the side mirrors, this might be an extra help on the rest of the E.

Not sure if you park on the street or what, but I have a driveway but no garage. Haven't done this yet, but I plan to just keep a tarp over the car when snow is on the way. This way, when it's time to hit the road, I'll just (carefully) pull off the tarp. No shovel or scraper needed.

Curious, what does the ziplock do, other than simply keeping snow and ice off the side mirrors?

Yeah, I find scraping side mirrors to be the worst, so I bag 'em and zip 'em shut. You can also tie them on instead. I would love to even have just a carport. Here in KC, we seem to be more likely to get an ice storm than snow. In previous years, my vehicles have nearly been frozen shut with a thick coat of ice.

I hear you. We had a lot of icy slushy muck here last year too that would then freeze solid.
