Although the weather is attempting to get cold in my area, it is still in the 70s during the days.

This weekend I managed to drag my butt outside and wash the E again. Due to some recent travel my E has a little neglected.

I washed and dryed the whole thing of course and then waxed it with some Zymols Cleaner Wax.
The E looks fantastic. I only wish I had had more sunlight that day as I would have topped it off wit heither NXT or Deep Crystal #3.

The hardest part I have with waxing is I did to lay it on a little thick trying to ensure I cover of the spots.

Anyway, Zymols works great. Nice smell to it (I know that sounds wierd).
Paint looks great. However the problem with really waxing the E up is seeing just how poor the paint job really is (orange peel effect).

Yeah! MTP, I had to go out and check my E, your right! I really hadn't noticed it that much but the paint does have a slight pebbly look to it if you look real close at an angle. That wax though sounds pretty good.

My 05 SOP beautiful paint job no Orange peel Still looks wet from the clear coat which was laid down thick and wet I don't even want to wax it because I might make it duller:|

Not sure if you are kidding or not, but you really should hand wash/dry, clay and protect your SOP with a quality sealant and/or carnauba. If you want a bright glossy, reflective look, there are several sealants that will give you that look while protecting your finish.

Just final got around to washing my car again since I Zymol'd it.
Yes, I have been a bad owner. 6 wks between washings.
I did a drying with the Eagle1 WAYD stuff again and had to go over all the plastic panels with Back to Black.
Damn car looks new again.

It will be close to spring before I do another real waxing and will probably attempt to due a claying first, Zymols, and followed that with probably Deep Crystal #3. Will definetly tape off the palstic panels next time. I am so sick of little white marks here and there near the paint from the waxing.

I know what you mean about the white marks. I have been using the Blue painters tape to stop that. That works well, but it's still a pain in the A**.

I may have to rethink the P-model thing !
