The 360 mile roundtrip on the 17th to pick it up was worth the drive. It would have been a three week wait otherwise and well, I just couldn't wait that long

I spent last weekend with the porter cable polisher, menzerna P085RD polish, menzerna FMJ (http://www.properautocare.com/menzernafmj.html), poorboy's wheel sealant, Klasse All in One, and a few other supplies making the E presentable.

I started to clay the E, but quickly realized the units are shipped with a protective coating when the clay was not pulling any contaminants off the paint.

It seems the dealer's hack detailer likes to dry the inventory with paper towels :x . The paint was swirled but the menzerna polish corrected that.
I have lots of other products I want to try on the E, but I am really happy with the FMJ sealant. I really makes the flakes pop:cool:
Sorry the sky was a little overcast today.

My Dad and I spent today driving around various Honda lots checking out the 05s and 06s. He really likes the new TRP so maybe he will posting here soon.

I'm dazzled! Beautiful work! I almost want to drive up there from Colorado and pay you a lot of money to do mine!

Congratulations on the new ride.
A very nice job you did on the clean up.

I'm still shopping for mine.
I want to see the Tangerine and Kiwi colors before I decide.

That paint sealant really did a nice job...

FMJ is the by far the easiest sealant or wax I have ever used. Easy on and easy off. The only down sides I can find are that it stains your pads red and the cost is a little steep.

That is some shine!! Looks good. Now you make the rest of us feel bad and have to go wash/wax.

Wheels and tires are on the list, but upgraded speakers and amps come first.:-D
