DETAILS of Element Owners Club, Mid-Atlantic Meet & Greet E-vent on Dec. 3.

(note that East Main Street in Lititz is Route 772 when East of Route 501 (Broad Street),
and Orange Street in Lititz is Route 772 when West of Route 501 (Broad Street)
DIRECTIONS ONCE YOU ARE IN LITITZ:
Watch for "Lititz Train Station" just south of the railroad tracks which cross Route 501 (North Broad Street) in Lititz. Beside the Train Station, turn west into the Lititiz Springs Park. Also watch for "Element Owners Club" directional signs.
Continue West on the park road, past the caboose, past the parking area on the left, and continue on until the park road curves to left and starts going uphill--look for the Orange Element parked on the left, and that is where the Meet and Greet will begin. (It's about 400 yards from where you turned into the park)
Note that the Lititz Train Station is also the "Lititz Welcome Center" and has public toilets, brochures and small historic exhibit.
DETAILS of the E-vent
At meet and greet, we'll have some free drinks and snacks for ya. Everyone can show off their Element--the accessories you've added, tell us about your favorite clean and shine products, etc. Talk about likes and dislikes of the Element, where you've driven it, etc. Barry will have free "Element Owners Club" vinyl letter decals for everyone. We'll take some group photos of the Elements. Barry will have photo album with photos of the National Element Owners Club which was held in Ohio in July 2005, which included a tour of the Element Factory.

Downtown Lititz is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and contains many buildings from the 1700 and 1800s. Lititz is a popular tourist destination and if anyone is interested in history; or craft, antique or boutique stores, Kay Melchi can lead a free walking tour from the meet through the center of town, describing the history and pointing out historic buildings and her favorite shopping places. There's even a Chocolate Cafe.
Also, located beside Lititz Springs Park, is Wilbur Chocolate--a chocolate factory and well-stocked candy store and "Candy Americana Museum" (no charge). If you arrive early in town, you'll probably enjoy a visit there--be sure to stop at the fudge counter and ask for your free sample of a Wilbur Bud (much better than a Hershey Kiss). If we're lucky, they will be grinding cocoa beans at the factory, and the whole downtown area will smell like chocolate.
LItitz is also having a "Hometown Christmas" event--horse-drawn carriage rides thru the historic district are available, weather permitting. Santa will be receiving visitors in the red caboose located behind the Lititz Train Station in the Lititz Springs Park.
When those who participated in the walking tour of downtown Lititz have returned to the Meet area, those who are interested can follow us in their Elements as we drive to a local restaurant/pub where you may purchase anything from just a drink to appetizers to a full meal, as we can sit together as a group. That will conclude the event.
Your cost: everything is free--except your only cost would be if you wish to come to the restaurant at the end of the meet.
