I recently purchased a Blitzsafe HON/M-Link1 V.2 (http://www.logjamelectronics.com/blitzhonmlink1dmxv2.html) Ipod integration kit which was designed for Hondas and was advertised to be compatible with 2003-2005 Elements. However, when I tried to install it, the plug just would not fit in my CD changer port on the back of my radio. I have the LX model, and my guess is that the Blitzsafe was designed for the EX. I contacted my reseller and they asked me what kind of plug I the LX radio had. I don't know, it is a 14 pin, but other than that, how do I describe it? Does anyone know the name of that type of female CD changer port or the model number or anything? That would be very helpful. Hopefully I can get this sorted out and let you guys know how the Blitzsafe works.

Don't know, but that link doesn't specify DX/LX/EX and mentioned the 14-pin connector, so it's probably gonna work.
Sure you didn't try to plug it in upside down, etc.?
The Blitzsafe looks interesting.

Hmm, well according to their website, they don't even have anything that will work on an 03 element....

If you find out something different, we LX owners would surely like to know !

www.discountcarstereo.com has a good picture to help determine which adapter you need here (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/pdf/hon98.pdf). Blitzsafe makes an adapter for the HON-98 connector. Another adapter is available for the HON-03 connector.

I put a Blitzsafe adapter in my '06 LX and it's awesome (I even put an in-line switch on the power wire with the fuse, so I can control when the iPod is charging and when it's not). Good luck.
