I just got a 2003 Element EX and I want to keep it looking (and running great). I was searching through the other threads but could not find what I'm looking for. I am planning on washing my car this weekend and I wanted to know what is the best product to use for protecting the plastic panels and making them shine. Also, what is a good wax for the rest of the car? Thanks!

I like Meguires 40 Vinyl & rubber protectant, cleaner or Mother's Back TO Black, for the paint I use Zaino. Use the SEARCH function on this forum and you will find more information on any number of products.

Mother's Back to Black works great on the panels. However, (it may be my imagination, but) it seems like the panels attracted more dirt after I used it. It almost looked like a sooty residue. Maybe, I just noticed the buildup more.
