Hey y'all! Hope everyone is doing well. :)

I'm finally getting around to posting a pic of my E. Just took it today with the digicam. It's got about 3-4 inches of "white slop" on it. :|

I hope I loaded this up right. :)

Took mine out last weekend to cut down a Christmas... er... Holiday Tree (or whatever i'm allowed to say without offending anyone... hehe). Got in some serious powder (over a foot), and the E handled it like a champ! Even on street tires! :D

Are those Toyo T1-S?

If so, wow!!!

On my Miata, I considered those sled runners.

Funny, I looked at those pictures and just before reading your post, said to my wife, "I sure am glad the snow has the decency to stay in the mountains where it belongs, most of the time, in OUR area." (Seattle vicinity)

Not me! We got about 2 inches last Tuesday (when it missed Seattle) and another 5 or 6 Thursday/Friday (when Seattle got, what, an inch?) down here on Lake Tapps. There's still snow on the ground down here!

To me, snow is an integral part of winter, especially around the holidays. Something's just missing when ya have Christmas with no snow!

Our first snow in VA happend while I was at work, driving home I wanted to see how the E would handle.. I tried eveything I could to get the E to slide, It was like driving on dry pavement.

I could not even do a doughnut!!:|

If you are ever at Starbucks on RT. 3 I am usually there in the am, I saw another SOP there with a EOC sticker, I thought it may have been you, but your driving the NBP… with the number of E sign I have been seeing lately we should be able to have a meet in the F'bug... your going to Mary Wash U right?

I'm at that starbucks usually in the afternoon or latenight, never a.m., but yeah i'm at Mary Wash. Thats cool you've seen an eoc sticker, i've seen lots of E's but never any with a sticker.
A Meet in Fred would be really practical b/c we could then incorporate the members from Richmond and NoVa areas too, we're right in the middle!

I like the look of your E. What grile do you have and what size are your tires and wheels. I am trying to decide which way to go, chrome the stock ones or aftermarket. Would chains fit on those?

Thanks

:D Hey Honu, are you guys heading up this way again this winter?

Lots of fun things going on right now - the Nordic World Cup tour is in town. LOVE that snow.

Night sprints in the village.

Hi PVR!
We hope to make the trek up to Silver Star again this year, but its getting to be a pretty small window of time for such a long drive (9 hours of winter driving) with only 2 days for a short action packed visit with my sister and some x-c skiing. We are still trying to figure if its worth the price of a new Windshield for 2 days. :)

IF the weather is nice like we had for last year, the drive itself from Seattle is quite scenic and with only one stretch of sheer terror on 97c. Thats where I was passing all those people that were spun out and flipped over, that had just passed my Element (I was only doing 65mph) a few moments before. and that was in NICE weather!

I have to say that Silver Star does live up to its reputation for awesome snow conditions for any kind of boarding or skiiing!

And the partial family reunion is always nice for me too.
