: "Waste of bandwidth" Awards Poll

Here it is folks...the official "Waste of Bandwidth" awards poll:shock:

Okay, other than this (and some of my other posts over the past 18 months) which of the following are the most redundant, and bandwidth-wasting, recurring threads here on the EOC? I'm listing what I think is the top five cheesiest, most recurring themes in threads. Whats to win? nothing! I haven't got any dust-collecting statue or other chotchky to hand out...so just vote for the fun of it.

Anyone who is guilty of starting such threads and is offended by this:TFB:x

I refuse to vote until you create a thread that actually has something to vote for and you spell cheesiest properly. :)

Damn you...you started while I was still editing!

Most of my posts and Threads have been pretty lame. But I'll nominate "Where's the 6 cylinder". and anyone who thinks this will happen on redesign is nuts. I really don't think there will be a redesign and the Element will be gone as a new car in 07 or 08.

Heck, now the poll is up and my nominee isn't listed. I feel like a Democrat!

I vote for any poll posted by Genom:lol:

I voted for what I feel is the most tiresome ... 3rd rear seat.

Empire
12-08-2005, 11:06 PM
Well, you forgot a few like:

The "I hear a rear clunk noise" thread.

The "My Maintence Required light is flashing, what do I do?" thread.

The "Will this tire fit?" thread.

Now you all forgot about the "Has the windshield problem been fixed yet" threads.

Yup, definetly forgot the tire size threads...

Man those were hard to choose between, but went with the 3rd rear seat and it appears a lot of others did too.

I'm with you !! If I needed a 3rd rear seat I would not have looked at an E ..

I had to go with the My Element is better than that POS xB thread. That type of thread can seriously show how ignorant some E owners can be.

Can't all the boxes just get along?

I would vote, but I need to go outside and hose out my interior. I just got back from some serious off roading.

Right, just make sure the E is parked on a down angle and the hose nozzle set on high and the water will flow right out the rear.

P.S. For those " not in the know ", I'm just kidding.

This one's not a topic, but a common useless post: "I don't have that problem; there must be something wrong with you."

That's the truth. I don't need someone I don't know telling me there's something wrong with me.

I'm married, so I got a wife to tell me that stuff.

This is by far the best poll ever! and by far the biggest collective waste of bandwidth!! *Applause*

It was a real brain bender as they are all good options.

Other useless responses
1. You are having a problem with your E? You must be a troll.
2. Do your search.
3. I am totally happy with my E. It is flawless. I don't agree with any complaints about anything on the E.

Ummm, yeah. Uh John, if you would have searched you would have seen where many others have already listed those.
RTFM.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the fairly repetitive "Does anybody make a (3-6", fill in the blank) lift kit for the Element yet? I want to put a lift kit and 35" tires on mine. Will they rub? And will it effect gas mileage"?

i can't believe no one has mentioned any variations of the following:

- how to get best mileage in the E

- MPG EPA estimates - not always accurate!

and my personal favorite...

- 32.7 MPG!!!!!!!!!!!

How about any thread that contains pictures of Bob's nipples.
I know there's like 3 or 4 floating around. (threads not nipples........I think)

You know, that would be ok...but all joking aside, there is a guy over on the HCF forum that said he put a V-TEC light on his dash....tapped into his computer and the light comes on when the V-TEC kicks in.....I would LOVE that one!

What? No Mobile Electronics nominations?

1) XM vs. Sirius
2) Can you replace the factory sub with a larger one?
3) How do you take apart the _________ ? (fill in the blank)

BTW, does anybody know why my seat rocks?
