Okay, I praised Lexol for getting a scratch out of my panels and for making them look great. It rained today and now they are streaked! Just like a post I found today said it would do. I wish I would have read that sooner.

What can I use to protect (main concern) the panels, and also may shine or clean them and WON'T LEAVE STREAKS :?:

Thank you :!:

Try 303 Protectant.

I used 303 and today I noticed it is streaking in the rain a bit also. Although it promises to last a long time. Anyone else notice this or is this just me?

The last time I used Mothers Back to Black and it does not streak. In fact rain and water seems to bead right off. It does eventually come off but in a slow undetectable way. And it feels good and silky. I wanted UV protection like 303 and Mothers had this answer for me.

Back to Black does have some UV protection, we just donšt hype it up.
Remember though real adequate UV protection comes from the manufactured
part...that is they build in UV protection. Anything you add on top is just
transitory.

So in a few weeks I'm may be Back to Black. Also don't bother putting anything on the roof top cladding. It will run down eventually.

I worked in an analytical lab for a plastics compounder, and I know that UV packages are used in a lot of plastics with outdoor applications to slow fading. Hopefully Honda chose a good grade with the right chemicals! The plastic does seem a little soft however...(scratching issues)

Good Friend is an Engineer/Chemist for a large plastics company and he told me 3 months ago exactly what Mothers said: The UV must be manufactered or built in.... anything else in temporary and fleeting.

Use Lexol on the inside only. I had good luck with the 303 protectant, but like Ropedart wonder about putting anything up high on the roof cladding, it'll run down...
