Well, I have done some thinking about my dilemma (www.elementownersclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2097)
and I have decided to try a different route.
Here is a link to my resume (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/npfsu/Resume%20page/Resume.htm)
If there are any readers that are in the position to do some hiring, please check out my resume. In a nutshell, I just graduated from Florida State University (May 3rd), I have a good foundation of IT background (especially for a 22 year-old) and would like to use that to find a IT training, consultant, sales, job. Anything where I can interact with other people. I currently live in North Florida and am more than ready to get out of here.
Well, it's a longshot, I know. But, I really want to join the E family. (and I really need a job!)

NPFSU,
Are you on Monster.com? Does FSU have a placement program? Are you considering relocation to AnyTownUSA? Be very flexib;e in this economy. Try getting your resume into Orlando/Space Coast companies - especially military aerospace companies (Lockeed Martin).
I used to live in Melbourne Beach. Fun area.
Best of luck.

You should check on www.boeing.com
I work for Boeing, and we have a large presence in FL (obviously), and the IT system at Boeing is FREAKING MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: They are also "pretty" good about hiring fresh meat (aka: just out of college).

Northrop Grumman has a tremendously large IT division, with locations all over the country. Do a google search and once on the main site click on the "Horizons" link. They have IT openings all over the place.

If I can give you any advice it would be this. Make your contact first through the companies site i.e. finding our WHO the IT Dept head is. Make a phone call first...the purpose of this call is to introduce yourself and then set an appointment is possible to place your resume.
Even though we live in this great digital age, people hire PEOPLE...not "E-resumes". Make sense?
When we hire here, it is in person. The "E-resumes" get looked at then tossed.
Good luck to you!

Hmm. I just posted to your first post, then read this. I see you are not sitting idle. Do you realize what you have just put into motion for yourself? Do you see how fast this works? Amazing. I am excited for you, as I'm sure everyone here is. And Jerry, great advice.
You will go far, my friend.
 PM me. I have a few contacts at Hallmark in Kansas City.
