: Finally Updated DVD/GPS pix of my "Lunch Box"
Well finally had time to take some pix of my Lunch Box. I bought the AVIC N1 from a fellow EOC member a couple months back. Sorry for the dirty E but its been raining a lot here in the Bay Area. Also took pix of my ipod holder that he included. I hope to get the HID conversion and exhaust in the next couple of months. Happy holidays and enjoy the pix!

jdiane 12-23-2005, 07:03 PM Looks Great!!! I like that grill. :) And that E is not 'dirty'-- three weeks of snow and below freezing temps, now my E is DIRTY  jk :D :D
HellaMent 12-23-2005, 11:57 PM Hey, WHERE DOES ONE GET HEADLIGHTS LIKE THOSE???
Ive Been Looking For Sometime Now. And Getting Frustrated, Cause I Cant Find Them!!!
Please Help Me!!!
Thanks
I did the headlights myself. I just did a search on this board and found members who did way before it popped up on ebay. Basically take off the headlight, put it in a preheated oven thats set at 215, for 10 minutes. then the housing just pulls apart, take off the amber, paint the housing (i used krylon fusion blk) reseal, put back in oven, then reattach. There is a post somewhere on the board with detailed instructions and pix. Just search for jdm headlights or clear headlights.

Hey Hellament, welcome to the club. Here is a thread with a complete step by step process for changing your lights into blacked out lights.

STIXOUT 12-30-2005, 07:09 PM NOT personal KVN - just my thoughts...
hey, who votes on the E of the month? Whomever it is must be getting paid on the side for their vote on the dirty, NON detailed E of december.
Common! is this what the best of the best looks like?
I cant believe an engine area that DIRTY and not detailed can be awarded EOM. Scuffed/dirt on driver side plastic by rear wheel.
What about the tires? Ever use protectants to make em shine? Why does this not matter to the site voters?
Maybe this attitude on the site is why when I went to a EOC meeting in Torrance Ca, there were vehicles that were HOSED off and still WET when they showed up for the club meeting.
Where are the higher standards for E of the month?

Got it; sweet!:)
Hey no offense taken. I just posted my pix up in the image gallery as an update. I also stated that its been raining a lot here in CA and the pix were just taken to show off the dvd/gps. Its not worth washing my car here when it rains almost every other day. Posted way better pix of my E but they were all erased when the site went down. I didn't post my E to get E of the month but I think the concept of what I have done to my car shows. Although dirty, the car still looks dope imo. I am planning to take way better pix of the E in action this today and this weekend, but because of the weather, it is still on hold.

I'm not sure why he has his panties in a wad either.
I think Stixout is getting "Element of the Month" mixed up with the "World's Coolest & Cleanest Best in Show Blue Ribbon here's your 12 foot tall golden trophy encrusted with jewels Winner."
Stix, it isn't a competition. Nobody votes. It's all up to Tmac (Tom). If any pictures in the Image Gallery tickle his fancy (I've seen his fancy before.....guhrossss! :D ) then that's who is chosen as "EOTM". Take it easy, not all owners strive to have show cars. Some folks just like to use it for what the Element was intended. Some viewers get just as excited looking at a muddy Element stuffed with kitchen cabinets fresh from Home Depot as some do with one that has a freshly waxed custom paint job, sits on 20's and is stuffed with amps, subs and video monitors.
The cool thing about Element of the Month is that ANYONE can be chosen.

STFU! we should all be happy. from the looks of the pictures atleast i can tell that E is used for more than showing off to all the NEON, Stereo Bumping, Lowriding Lame asses our there.
as far as getting paid on the side. i mean seriously. its not like the winner gets a check for 10K or anything. give me a break. Get over it!

WartHog 12-31-2005, 04:17 PM You missed the point, Stixout, it's all in fun!
Everything here is all in fun! Even E of the Month.
After all, we're all drivin' a car which is arguably 'ugly', so it's gotta all be in fun!
Like Bobhch always says: "I like to have fun...doesn't everyone?"
Besides, an E is supposed to be a little dirty, it's a work-horse! Like Mrs. Warthog always tells me (whenever I complain) "My house is clean enough to be healthy, and dirty enough to be happy." See? It's all in how you look at it.
So, come on back to the party, Stixout. Throw some mud all over your E, take a pic, and send it in as the "Off-roading E of the Month" -- maybe you'll win.
AnthonyNOFX 04-03-2009, 03:21 PM what kind of rims are those????? there saaaaweeeet

Someday, though... Someday...
