I found this site trying to obtain wiring schematics so I could install a sub woofer. Well, I found half of them thanks to Emass and some guy named J (thanks). I still took everything apart and followed my own lines for accuracy. I could not have done it w/o the head start provided by these guys.

Anyhoo, really quick, here is what I did:

I used a 150W amplified Bazooka tube. I cut into the wiring harness's wires for the factory sub and spliced them into a three way. There are two wires: a red and white, and a red and blue. One is + and one is -. Note Emass's schematic to know which one as I forgot due too my drunkiness. I used the passive line so it is important to CUT BEFORE IT ENTERS THE AMP! DO NOT RUN A POWERED LINE INTO THE RCA INLETS ON A BAZOOKA TUBE! You can only do this if you have a powered line entry(most do). I then butt connected everything and taped it. I ran my lines under the side interior panels and drilled a hole to place a permenant "out" for the RCA cable. Notice RCA cable is singular. I spliced an RCA cable onto the end of the speaker wire I had run to this area. I then connected the sub w/o the remote because I STILL DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE WHICH LINE IT WAS:confused: !! Seems to work fine on auto though. In fact, it may be a bit too much bass. I had to adjust the tube down. All of the rest can be found in other threads/postings Then I ran a ground into the spare compartment and fed the power through here as well. **NOTE** there is a removable plug on the drivers side fire wall. It is accessable behind the front tire. Remove this w/ a flat head. Then poke a hole in the middle and reinstall after you have run your power line through it. Add some silly cone caulk and rock and roll.

Important follow up.

Do not forget you will need to use a Y splitter to adapt the single RCA to the speaker's 2.
