Very nice! More details on your setup please!
--How much did it drop the car overall?
--How is the ride quality with the coilover setup?
--What kind of shocks did you use and what are the spring rates?
--Did you install anything to correct the rear camber?
:)

wow, that looks good! I didn't think mesh rims would look good on an E. I might have to reconsider my rim choices now.
btw, are you on stock shocks with those coilovers? how's the ride? do you have custom spring rates? please let us know. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment!
i neglected to measure the stance prior to the wheels and coilovers-
(somone PLEASE measure from the ground to the edge of the wheel well lip so i can try to calculate it)
as it sits it's 28" front and 28 1/2 in the rear
the ride is really decent though it's a matter of personal "feel" i think.
i was pleasantly surprised at how well it rides though it is not as smooth as stock obviously.
theres the added bonus of getting them off evulbay for 116.00 delivered
slightly used but as good as new.then i saved several hundred dollars by installing them myself(the local shops wanted 500 plus to swap out the springs and install the SPC cambers arms in the back.
did the fronts in about 3 to 4 hours and that included a very cautious first side- the second one went in about 45 minutes.it's really simple.
the rears i did the next day and were done in around 3 hours but i could do it again in 2.
i was undecided about the rears since the SPC camber adjusters weren't here
but the day off was and the weater was perfect (60/65) so i went for it-
patience not being in abundance...
i rented a set of good spring compressors from AutoZone-
i say"rent" but in reality they were free cus i got every penny back from the
deal.- they sorta sell them to you and you return them for a full refund- whata deal!
anyway-
the camber adjusters will be here in a day or so and i'll stick them on starting with about 1/2" of additional length.
that oughta put me in the ballpark/eyeball and go from there with a full alignment/camber /toe-in correction with a reputable shop.
i'll feel better once the camber is correct and its been aligned-
stock struts-it's new with only 2000ish miles
the springs are marked:
front-700.250.400
rear-150.64.92
the first number being spring rate if i am correct-
hope this helped-and thanks again

I like...I like....it looks really clean lookin with the 18's. I should've went with 18" or 20" wheels. I was wondering how the Ground Controls would work on the element. I've ran Ground Controls on 3 of my civics in the past 2yrs and they ride excellent, I also love Eibach springs, the ride is great. I'm in the process of selecting a lowering suspension and I just might go with the Eibach or Tein setup. But I must lower it at least 2".
