We are trying to get a handle on how many are planning on coming to the Big E-vent in St Louis.

The dates for the event will be July 13-16 with everyone arriving mostly on the 14th.

I'll definitely be there (plus wife and two kids)....we'll be arriving in St. Louis on the 9th of July and staying through the end of the event. We've got family in St. Louis, so we're making it into a vacation to visit the relatives before all of the EOC events start.

I have my annual family reunion that weekend. As much as I love my E, I love my family more. However, one of my uncles drives an SOP, so we'll have our own little meet and be in St. Louis in spirit.

I'm sure I'll be able to make it. My wife has already arranged the time off for it so everything looks like a go.

With things being planned that far in advance I still can not make a commitment to the BigEvent. We are planning to attend but things always sneak there way into our lives to change our plans.

Yeah, just like last year, Shen....no promises. Boo. I'll have driven to three* of them - way farther than you making just one. Step up to the plate and take a swing, man!

And Tim and Elaine - if a few of the others he met last year intend to show up, I think evil spawn might be marking it on his calendar. I just this minute got confirmation my Kiwi girlfriend will be accompanying me, and he's a big fan of hers, so we shall see. I may need to apply drugs, but you also know I'd have no shame in doing that. :-D

Fine... lemme rephrase that... 3,800 miles and 65 hours of driving... round trip!

That's about $440 worth of gas!! Not to mention the munchies that are required for such a road trip! I'm talking lots of beef jerky, chips, and plenty of red bull!

And, doh! What's not to like about that!?

The Wife & I are there. For sure. Leaving the kids behind. You have heard Love em' or leave em'....Well we Love em' but, we are leaving them. (3 year old Bree and 2 year old Fletcher) They are on their way to the BWOC.com National Meet...lol.

Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for us. Have some relatives in St. Louis and will probably hook up with them Thursday sometime.

I bought 4 different colored EOC shirts and just got a National Meet shirt from last year in the mail. Thanks Julie. Will wear last years NM shirt to work Wednesday just to show what a big Element dorkus I am.:)

I hope to be making the trip with my family (wife, 6 yr old son and Grandmama). Looking forward to it. Hope all goes well (getting hip replacement and knee surgery before trip). Looking forward to seeing my fellow E'ers.

haha.. yeah. I finally got that ticket taken care of (defensive driving). I always allow one ticket, but hopefully this year it won't be in Texas (unless it's on the way home). Hurricane wasn't too bad, Shepherd didn't get the worst, we only lost power for a little over a week.

Grandparents 63rd wedding anniversary in July. Not gonna be able to make it. :(

My wife and I are going to try and be there. I play a lot of softball that I travel for and right now that weekend is an open weekend for me...no tourney's. So if it stays that way there is a good chance the Mrs. and I will be there from Northwest Arkansas!

Registered and paid tonight, so look out. Mainly so my girlfriend from New Zealand could see she's gonna be the one coming from the farthest away, but...it was only a matter of time anyway. Maybe I should think about contacting the hotel too, instead of waiting until the night before the meet like I did last year? I'm trying to work it out. I have a Family reunion in Paducah, KY that weekend and the other side of the family is hosting one in Daytona Beach, FL. Personally, I love my family but I'd rather be in St. Louis! Isn't that where Fred Sanford was from?
Is there anyone from Indiana heading west on I-70 for this? Maybe we can convoy there. Also it would be a great idea if the EOC as well as the other site we have Hondaelement.org start sending out mailers to some of the dealerships in the area of these meets to let em know we're coming that way. I know my dealership Penske Honda has never heard of these forums until I told them about it.

E-Shen, if you come slow it down in Clarksville, AZ just on the inside of the AZ line from CA. We got stopped there in our Element doing 95MPH by the only officer working that night at 2am. Police courtesy got us off. We were rolling in my brothers '05 NBP, bringing it back to Indy for his relocation here from LA. You're right, it took us 36hrs with a lay over in OK City, OK.
