diel5946 05-25-2003, 06:37 PM I'm a new owner and first time poster. Purchased an Orange EX AWD last night but won't be ready for pickup until Wednesday. I've seen a passenger side arm rest for sale on ebay, but not through Honda. Anyone have any experience purchasing/installing. Any recomendations? Tygh 05-26-2003, 10:53 AM The "passenger side" arm rest is simply the driver side arm rest turned upside down. Not too hard to do and there a couple of threads showing the install. Will the passenger arm rest also fit if the driver's is replaced with the storage? Or is the storage armrest wide enough for both the driver & the passenger? TIA! ERider 05-26-2003, 09:29 PM I have the "double wide" and really like it. You won't have enough room for a passenger one, but then you won't need one as the "double wide" fits nicely between the two seats and offers storage. The best part is that it is easily removed if need be. jcridge 05-27-2003, 10:04 AM Does anyone have any pics of either a passenger side armrest installed or the "double wide" armrest installed on the drivers seat? I'm really curious to see what these both look like. 4rachnid 05-31-2003, 12:47 AM I read something about this in another post: Somebody is trying to get the regular driver armrest from a Japanese guy, cause the right seat IS their driver seat. Sounds to me like that would be the best install since it's made to install on that side. Wouldn't the US driver's side armrest rotate down when installed on the passenger side? aristoBrat 05-31-2003, 08:56 AM I don't see any way that it wouldn't -- the hole for the bolts didn't move. :D OTOH, the regular arm-reset, upside, wouldn't be bad, would it? Obviously the storage arm-rest upside would be a bit of a problem! | ||
