:D You mean like scionB ?
ramblerdan 01-19-2006, 02:39 PM They went a little crazy with the external appearance. Hope it wasn't at the expense of practical function and room. Oh, let's guess ...
joeBoxer 01-27-2006, 12:33 AM here's another pic of it. i like the futuristic concept of it and i think it would look pretty nice in all black!
Beaker 01-27-2006, 01:03 AM that's cool looking

It looks like the illegitimate love child of a Dodge Magnum and an Element, whose mother smoked, drank, and got strung out on meth throughout her pregnancy.
That said, I kind of dig it
wankerklink 01-27-2006, 06:23 AM Swoopy looks, but too small for me. :|
Astro 01-27-2006, 07:47 AM It is "pretty" but I am against KIA's, I think they are crap!

Seconded on the crap comment...My mom has a '99 Kia Sportage and that thing is plagued with electrical gremlins that pop up and disappear at will. It also needs a right front balljoint (at 78-some-odd-thousand miles??? WTF)
The Kia Soul does look rather weird and I like it. I cannot afford "expensive cool" cars, so I lean towards "weird cool" cars.
lwclancers 01-27-2006, 09:11 AM it reminds me of the new Toyota FJ cruiser. Although I wonder if the rear passangers have to be legless to get into the Soul?
I do like the bigazz tailgate though.

Friend of mine bought a KIA sofia brand new and within the first 2 weeks of the car it would not start in the rain, had the whole gas tank replaced and yep, same gremlins lurking at will...
joeBoxer 01-27-2006, 11:39 AM Had a Sorrento and it was great. So I think that the Koreans have made great strides lately and they still give more vehicle for the money and help ease the concern with lengthy warrantys. here's my former sorrento.
HauntedMyst 01-29-2006, 12:25 AM I think it looks cool and I hope they come out with it! We have a Kia Sedona and it's a well made, well designed car - some aspects of it are more cleverly designed than the E. It's major downfall is the horrible gas mileage. Other than that, it's had no trouble in 6 months. I only hope I feel the same way about it in 5 years.
bobhch/hchbob 01-29-2006, 01:00 AM Think the way the 4 door glass meets in the center is Sweet! I will keep my "E" but, sure that many will like this. SOC.com?????
rodaniel 01-29-2006, 02:37 PM Anyone else noticed the trend in the past year to make windows vertically smaller? This Kia has a bit of this look, but the Magnum definitely sports it. Makes me think of the bad guy cars in the old Spy Hunter game...
I prefer expansive windows and the E fills that bill! And that may be another part of the Element's design that makes it feel bigger than it is...
