Hey all,
This is my first post and I am thinking about purchasing new tires for my E. Something a bit bigger then what came stock. Does anyone know what the largest tires you can get without any rubbing would be?

*sigh*
serenity now,serenity now.
Honestly dude, you've kinda picked a question that's more worn out than Whitney Houston's crackpipe. But lucky for you I'm halfway thru a box of wine at the moment so I'll steer you in the right direction.
Try looking into some 225/70/16s or some 235/70/16s.
Please take full advantage of the SEARCH button at the top toolbar and you should come across many discussions on tried and true tire sizes.
Check out our sponsor www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) at the top of this page.
Now welcome to the EOC.
Between you and me, watch out for IRV, he's old and nasty.
Kayakin' Dan is cool but smells of beef and cheese.
Oh, and be careful, Bobhch/Hchbob will show you his man teets whether you want him to or not.
Have fun, you'll have plenty of catching up to do so make sure you use that New Posts button up there also so you don't miss anything.
Be sure to order yourself a sticker on our EOC Merchandise page also.

NO kidding
I must be an embryo then
As Empire mentioned. 225/70/16 is the next size up and should be good. Most 235/70/16s will fit too, although (depending on tread design) MAY rub slightly when hard turning.
