Hi. I'm very close to ordering an Element. And I know this is a very minor thing, but what's the deal with the meter/center trim? Worth getting? I like the idea of metal/chrome accents, but what comes standard? Any advice?

There is already a matte metal trim around the gauges - as far as the rest, its really what you prefer - I got aftermarked carbon fiber trim for around the radio and the temp controlls

there isn't - the original question is for the metal trim in the center by Honda

The trim that comes on the EX standard is different than the trim that you can order...I got some for the side of the doors and it is more of a brushed silver......looks more like metal than the rings and air vents. BG

Eazy E is right about the brushed metal look. I obtained the trim from HandA and installed them myself. I'm happy with the results.
