Looks good!

It even feels a lot taller now doesn't it?

yea, i noticed the increase in height immediately, although it only feels like maybe an inch...

i'm thinking the sidesteps are next, to assist with getting into the rear seats and for the look.

Not trying to speak for Cap, but when I had mine, I did not feel like they were that much louder at all.

Any opinion is very helpful, thank you lwclancers. I'll be needing new tires soon so I'm starting the decision process now so I'll be able to find what woudl be the bes replacement tire.

:) looks good. thinking of doing the same to my '05 E. any clearance problems?

loudness = no noticeable difference from stock

ride = the a/t tread pattern leads to a little more feedback in the steering, but not enough for me to not go with the bridgestones

look = much beefier and rugged looking

handling = handles corner better, nothing hugely significant over the stock goodyears, but it is noticeable.

haven't had a chance to test them in rain / snow.

How about tracking on the straightaways? Does it reduce the tendency to "wander" that several of us have complained about.

with the bigger contact patch of the revo's, it does track amazingly well, and far exceeded my expectation of an a/t tire.....if anything, i think it tracks better than the goodyears (at least it feels like it does) because of the larger tire hitting the ground area.

i know the bfg a/t's are a popular choice, but one ride with those tires, and i knew i wouldn't be going with those.

i like the tread pattern on the revos better than the bfg's too.

warthog, to answer your question, the revos are superior to the OEM tires in everyway, maybe not by a mile in every category, but still superior.

i've only had them a week, i'll give more feedback after i've had them on longer.

again, the only downside is the additional feedback through the steering wheel, but i'm sure any a/t tire is going to do that, especially in a larger size such as this. again, it's not significant enough to sway me from going with the revo's, but still something to consider in going with an a/t tire vs. a non a/t tire. the look and performance makes it far more than worth it to me.

i'll try to get pictures in better light sometime. we are supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow tonight, so maybe i'll get a chance to try it out in the white stuff.

Hey, I was reading all previous posts, and decided to chime in, I also have BRIDGESTONE DUELER AT size 215/70/16 my pattern looks a little different from yours though, mine tracks straight as an arrow, and sounds like Iv'e got mudders on, I get that Wa Wa Wa noise traveling at speeds above 30mph, dont mind it at all turns more heads that way, plus they will go through anything snow mud etc. Gotta love em!

Yours are a different model. These are the Dueler A/T REVO. These don't come in the stock 215/70 size so the next size available is 2 up with 235/70/16. The tread pattern is a bit more aggressive than the other Bridgestone AT models. Your's look like Dueler A/T D693

Your correct, that is mine on the bottom, now I wish I would have gone with the wider ones, like the pattern better, oh well next time.

UPDATE:

took my E to Firestone today and had them take a look at my "vibration" issue at freeway speeds.....come to find out, two of the wheels were out of balance pretty significantly.

Leete Tire of Petersburg, VA is definitely a place NOT to take your vehicle.

I had the REVO's installed two weeks ago, noticed the vibration, took it back a week later, and was told they were balanced perfectly.

Drove on the tires a week since, and the vibration still persisted, and thought to myself "this is definitely not right." i took empire's advice and took it to the same firestone he had his looked at.....and voila....drove the E all day today over a variety of roads and no more vibration.

I went with the Bridgestone Duelers H/L's per suggestion by Indy Tire Center in Carmel, IN. My Wranglers only got 19K on them and needed replacing. I was able to get these at no cost and I love them! Very quiet tire, a sure grip, beefy tread pattern and they fill up the wheel openings with no problems of clearance. I went with the original size P225 70R 16. Everyone notices the difference in how they fill up the wheel well. In fact, this is the tire that was on my '03 SMM as a replacement and when I traded it in January for the '06 Tango Red EX-P the dealership put my Duelers on the EX-P wheel for me. I told them I didn't want to have to go through tire replacement again and my Duelers only had 10K on them. They're rated close to being a 60K tire. My brother has an '05 Element and he's got 20K on his Wranglers and they are shot! When we got his Element here in Indy from our 36hr Los Angeles drive to my house he saw my Element in the garage and said man, I have to get me some tires like those. He couldn't believe how thin his were.

Dueler H/L tires deliver the exceptional performance and sophisticated design that drivers demand in the light truck and SUV markets. Engineered to take highway travel and suburban routes in stride, Dueler H/L adds the luxury of passenger car comfort and quiet ride to your light truck or SUV. Bridgestone engineers have improved both wet and dry performance in the Dueler H/L while UNI-T AQ technology keeps wet handling performance up as the tread wears down. Looking at the Tire Rack, it's rated pretty good on their survey tabs.

thanks....didn't really get a chance to drive them in the snow.....we haven't got a truly significant snowfall here in central VA where the snow has stuck on the roads.

Update,

this past tank of gas, i got 22.1mpg......so the extra tire hasn't had a huge impact on mileage.

Cappucino
05-10-2006, 08:53 AM
last tank of gas was 24.1mpg.

249 miles travelled. Filled up with 10.314 gallons of petrol.

249/10.314 = 24.1mpg.
