We have Blizzard warnings !!

They are telling us winds 30 to 60 Mph and 1 to 3" per hour. As it looks now we are in for from 12 to 16" as of 12:00 news. I'm going out to fill up the tank. That way I can go play in the snow.

I Just went out to dig out the E. We are in Blizzard conditions, wind is up to 40-45 mph temp is 18*F, whiteout !! we have about 12" so far they are saying that It's going to snow like this Till about 3:00 pm.

They have adjusted the snow fall amounts up to about 20 ". With it being this cold the snow is light, and blowing around. We have a drift across the road that is 3' high. I think when the wind shifts it will move it for me ( I hope ) . I'll keep you posted. Photos when the snow lifts enough to take them. I gave it a shot, but you cant see a thing as of now!

It let up enough to take a Photo:

Kiwi fruits are green with a brown exterior... maybe that's what they meant.

Either that, or green and brown would make a nice color combo.

we got about 8 inches here in Vienna, VA. Was mostly wet snow all day Saturday. About 6:30 Saturday night, the snow really got started. It was a bit slick on the back roads about 8:30, Interstates were clear. Dog is happy...

I went out in the height of the blizzard today to test my new Element in the snow. I've never driven anything that handles as well as the E did. I drove out of 12"+ snow without slipping once. And as an added bonus, it's surprisingly easy to clean off. :)

I tend to forget to do the roof and then surprise the traffic behind me with a Honda avalanche. No, I really only did that once. Maybe twice. I use a little stepstool to add to my reach so I can get the roof clear now. Must say the Modesto Mistlin Honda frames around the CA plates look wobegone with snow and ice on them.

Wow You guys got the bumper crop ! \

I took it out during the end of the storm last night. I did not bother to shovel it out. Just punched through the banking the plow put in front. It went out like the banking was not there. I could feel the AWD kick in, but could not feel the tires slip or spin. This thing is amazing. No sand on the road, It went up hill like it was dry pavement. What you can't see is the Ice under the snow. Walking up to the Connor, to get a Photo of the up hill grade, I damned near killed myself. Wound up on my Butt twice.... It was worth it !

We only got 20" .. It's my street that's the killer. It's all up hill! They sent a backhoe down the street to plow it. Take a look :

Makes My Crv Look Big, Kinda E shaped .

State College only got a couple of inches...lucky for me I was in Philly during the storm and got dumped on there. My friend I was visiting asked me I wanted him to clear out the snow around my car so I could leave. I just laughed and drove right over it....love that E!

Woo hoo! Finally got to take the E out in the snow and it did awesome. Pulled 'er out of the garage into ~8" of snow and she plowed right through. I expected some hesitation but I had no problems getting around the un-plowed streets, to the store, etc. I love this thing...

Even though I only have 2WD. I was having a Blast driving through that snow all weekend. Late at night is the best time to drive around here cuz just about everyone on the road is already at home. That means Crazy driving in the snow for me:D Some of you guys probably don't like the stock tires that came with the E but those Goodyears are pretty good in the snow.

What is great is that we got less than an ince (more of a "dusting") Sunday night and they closed school Monday......NYC got 27" and they went to school.

We got school closed a few weeks ago for thunderstorms.....lol
