First, congrats on your new purchase, Stella. I was reading your thread.

I don't live in SoDak any more. I was in Sioux Falls for four years in the early 80's, just before I moved to La Crosse. Which side of the state do you live in? As with many people, I liked the western part better, but I found the areas south of Sioux Falls also attractive.

I lived in the Sioux Falls area for almost 16 years of my life but have now moved to Virginia.

I was residing in Tea during that time.

I am back from Iraq and Living in Sisseton S.D. I make it to Sioux Falls a couple times 5-6 times a year.

Hey Welcome Back to South Dakota--Gustavus. You should let me know when you make those trips to Sioux Falls!

I'm from Sioux Falls. Been lurking here for a couple of months after I bought my used (sorry: previously owned, Honda certified) E. I haven't seen too many E's around town, maybe 7 or 8 total, so I don't know how many posts we'll have here.

All in all, I love the car. It's the first car I've had with personality. Traded a Blazer for it, and I'm not looking back. Love the room, love the gas mileage, don't need the towing capacity. But in the final analysis, the car is just plain COOL! (As all my kid's friends tell me.)

Hola, I have an Old English Sheepdog named Zach, he's huge(75 lbs)he's 90%good, 10% very very bad. I adopted him from the Humane Society a few months ago, i guess things are going okay. I love him! I play on an all womens rec league for volleyball, just for fun.

Here's a pic, he cut his paw pad open this last Sunday on my gutter's drain spout in the backyard, poor thing, but that cone is hilarious, i feel bad for laughing at him.

zach is cute, and yes 75lbs is huge! the lampshade is endearing though, hang in there!
i play vb in the park and rec co-ed league on saturday nights. it's a good time.
my pup is a much littler guy, weighing about 25lbs...he's a beagle/min pin mix...Cooper
the vest doesn't really fit him anymore though!
welcome to the club, it's nice to have a fellow local hanging around!

We live outside of Miller, SD. With a town of only 1500 people you would think we have the only Element, but there is one more running around town if you can believe it. Good luck and watch out for the pheasants!!

Today alone I saw 6 E's jetting around the city. One had been in an accident :(

Hoping some may show up here?

GGMinSD: concerning pheasants:

My wife hates them. She's hit two in the last two years and just missed a few more. It seems like their reaction to traffic is to run or fly out in front of it. My wife calls them suicide birds 'cause they seem to be so determined to snuff it.

I am the new guy a guess...

my wife and I just bought a 2003 here in Watertown! We got a really sweet deal on it, and it only had 23,000 miles on it.

New to SD and looking for other E owners. The group in SoCal where I lived was pretty active, but I never seemed to make it to a meet. It would be great to meet others in the area. I know there are several in Vermillion, but I'm not sure if anyone is on EOC. Anyhoo, if you see a silver '05 E with bullet hole decals on the drivers side, then you've seen me and my E. It is the first new car I have ever owned and I got him with 8 miles. He just hit 108K tonight on the way back from Sioux Falls. Hope to see folks about and maybe even get together sometime. Pax!

How's V-Town these days? I was raised most of my life in Tea, and attended USD for two years before transferring out to the D.C. area.

I wonder if my old frat is still standing :P
