Does anyone hear a pop noise when turning out or backing up of the driveway? I called my dealer where I bought the car from they said that its the brake pads and the rotors. What do you guys think??

What you are experiencing is the self-adjusting brake system doing it's self-adjusting. My CRV did the same thing.

I have got 12000 mile on my element and I am still hearing same every time I back up and go forward. it seams that something does not release on time or gets stock when the car goes back and does not release til you start going forward. :?:
