Hi all,
Has anyone attempted to install a starmate onto the lid of the upper storage compartment of an ex? wondering if the spring is just too week for that?
any installation pics would be great for ideas... thanks!

The spring would be too weak for that and the Starmateis too thick to allow the door to open enough. I thought of that when I did mine. I tried it up there more so out of curiosity that seriously thinking about putting it there. I wouldn't want to have to look up to change channels or read what's on the screen; but that's me.
