ORANGEE 03-11-2006, 08:19 AM How about Eureka Springs Arkansas?
Plenty of cabin rentals in the area and there are tons of stuff to do
and it's not to far.
I'm up for a get together as long as I can bring my dogs !

I did float the Buffalo River in ARKANSAS. 5 day float that was great.....! But kind of far from STL....
iceboxblueElement 03-11-2006, 09:04 PM True that double true.
Kinda far to Arkansas.
Oh yah and feel to bring pets, etc. Don't forget your fishing poles and if you have a kayak or raft bring it.
---- Meramac? or Finger Lakes (in columbia, real freakin sweet... no cabins, tons of islands, inlets, swimming, fishing and of course lots of lakes) oh and a Big Bass Pro Shop within 20 mins [in case you forget something].

About 1 hr.... Not far. That is why we go there for short camps. Never crowded and clean. Camping is segregated by what type you do...:)

ADAMLSTL 08-28-2006, 08:48 PM The CURRENT RIVER in Van Buren MO. It was a great trip in the E/camper.
I made my bed on the passenger side of the E-camper. My dog laid on the drivers side on the floor/padded. I used a sweet camp MOD: Take the Honda Skylight Shade Screen off the sunroof. Open the bottom tailgate close the top door. Set the Honda Skylight Shade Screen in the open gap with a fan in front. Fresh air and no bugs...I was the last to wake:cool:
ADAMLSTL 08-28-2006, 08:52 PM I use the Kelly sunshade XL. It works perfect with the E-camper. You can open the back and it is a sweet fit.
ADAMLSTL 08-28-2006, 08:55 PM The River was clear as can be. Very relaxing for my dog (Brutus) and I.
P.S. Lots of Guinness for Dad!:D
