Boldlygo 03-26-2006, 12:13 PM Seems to me you have enough accessories already to qualify!

bacchus1310 03-26-2006, 12:50 PM I have a few things on mine. :D I noticed a cloud ryder too. Very nice. I will be getting one of them soon too.
WoodysBlkElement 03-26-2006, 09:08 PM They look great. I am looking into getting a new setup but I'm looking to get black rims. Not sure though...Yours look so good I might just change my mind:cool:
wingdr 03-26-2006, 09:09 PM Glad to see someone else with good taste. :D These look familiar, Tim
Boldlygo 03-26-2006, 09:33 PM You know the 50 series are the wrong size - they should be 55's
paulj 03-26-2006, 11:29 PM What's wrong with 50s? They are 2% smaller than stock; same width but in 55 would be 1% larger. No big deal that I am aware of. I believe selection is greater in the 50 profile.
paulj
Boldlygo 03-27-2006, 08:09 AM Exactly - the 55 series is the "closest" match, with a speedometer difference of 1.151% too slow, whereas the 50 series difference is 2.209% too fast. You always want to stay with the best match.
Wamba 03-27-2006, 08:25 AM How do you keep the "E" show shiny? I can see there are snow piles in the back of the photos.
Seriously, like the look of the wheels a lot!
wingdr 03-27-2006, 11:46 AM If I remember correctly, the bfg kdws that I wanted did not come in a 55 series. So the 50 was close enough for me. The speedo is very accurate now and the 50 series is a lot closer to the spare tire size. With the 55 (IMHO) there was too much difference from the spare tire. I did not want to get involved in carrying a full size spare. No one knows for sure what difference in diameter is safe to run on the same axle with the AWD. Soooo, this way, if I am 500 miles from home, I don't have a worry about the difference in diameter's till I get home and order in another bfg. Tim
allmotorchick 03-27-2006, 03:09 PM Nice rims. I like the hyper blacks, gunmetal colors too.
I am on the hunt for a used set of rims myself. I bought an LX and I never like rolling on steelies.
Boldlygo 03-27-2006, 04:54 PM I had to clean it up for a showing we had at our lcoal hockey arena last night. So I washed and detailed it then took those pictures!
Actually, the roads are pretty dry right now here in Barrie since Saturday. And the forecast looks good for a few days too!
tessa 03-27-2006, 05:33 PM It does look mi-iiighty fine. Nothing like a shiny black E. And it's a 5-spd., too! Be still my heart :D
Tess
wingdr 03-27-2006, 08:15 PM Black is my favorite also, tess. :D but, having owned one black vehicle, that was enough. I still think it looks better than my SOP(a little:roll: ) Tim
RandyM 03-28-2006, 10:57 PM You always want to stay with the best match.
Says who? My '04 had much larger tires and went off-road loving it. My '06 still has the stock wheels but nothing says that I have to keep the same diameter to be *right*. It'll be different real soon.
Your opinion may be to keep it that close but that doesn't mean it's *always right*.
Boldlygo 04-04-2006, 09:23 PM Here's a pic of my car on the ice at our local Jr. hockey game!
AuntDale 04-04-2006, 11:51 PM WOW, that is IMPRESSIVE!
Love the clear side markers on the NBP
