MY GOODYEAR DEALER GAVE ME $40 EA. CREDIT ON ORIG.TIRES FOR NEW 235/70-16 FORTERA TIRES. THEA HAD LESS THEN 100 MI. ON THEM. NEW TIRES CLEAR EVERYTHING, CLOSE, NOT SURE CAN USE ANY TYPE CHAIN/PLASTIC SNOW TREADS BUT I DONT GET INTO SNOW MUTCH. THEY RIDE GREAT, MUTCH BETTER THAN STOCK TIRES AND ARE MUTCH QUIETER. HANDLE BETTER,AND SINCE I WILL TOW BEHINDE MY MOTORHOME THE 4% GREATER DIA. WILL HELP TURN AUTO TRANS SLOWER. PERFORMANCE,ACC. ETC SEEM THE SAME BUT I DIDNT DRIVE OLD SIZE MUTCH TO BE SURE. WELL WORTH THE CHANGE. STEVE COOK ORANGE EX AUTO AWD.

How would you rate the wrangler tires from 1 to 10?

I, too, have the 235/70/16 Goodyear Fortera's ... No comparison.

The stock is basically a very cheap tire and is undersized for the E.

The Goodyear Forteras roll smoother and quieter and look sensational - and the warranteed for 60,000 miles.

I get a lot of comments on the tires. This upgrade is the single, cheapest way to move towards a bigger SUV that looks like a Mid-Hummer.

Today, I parked next to a stock Element at the grocery store and the tire difference is really noticable. The Element large Wheel wells lend it to larger tires..

Does the Good Year tires come in the regular size < i don't want to go big >.....215/70/16 ?

What is the temperature and the treading ratings?

Also how much for a set of 4?

Thanks.

BFGoodyear g-Force 18 inchers (don't remember the other numbers). A set of 4 at America's Tire Store for about $440. WORTH the price as it goes around curves like it was on a rail!!
