Hi all. My father and I each bought an Element. My pop wants that "after market" kayak rack that is featured in the Honda dealer's pamphlet. He says it is a "tilt style" rack. Any thoughts on who might manufacture this rack. Thank you.

i asked a similar question in this thread (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2358), with 2 good answers as to suggestions for kayak racks.

Those looked like Thule or Yakima type kayak saddles for a whitewater boat(Ie; short). I like the malone Autoloader, http://www.theautoloader.com/ The kayak can just be tossed up on the rack with minimal effort as they position it on it's side.

We've ordered our Element, not sure when it gets in though. Hoewever. I just bought a used set of the malone autoloaders. The salesman, who sold me my kayaks 4 years ago, also uses the Malones. He puts his best kayak in the saddle, and straps his other in to the Malones from the back side.
I thought it was too cool when he told me about the Malones and went to the web site only to see the picture of the Element.
