i'm currently in the market for black wheels for my E, and have seen a bunch of photos of wheels on E's i like, but never know what they are. does anyone have any suggestions. i'm looking for 17/18" 5 spoke black w/ polished lip. any help would be greatly appreciated.:?

Just did a search on www.bigwheels.net for black wheels that fit the E. Here are a bunch that fit your description. I like the 5 spoke look, but a lot of them leave a lot of empty space in there and show off your not so attractive stock brakes which I'm not a big fan of. But it won't be so bad with 17"-18" wheels. At 20", the 5 spoke design REALLY starts to look like wagon wheels.

Left to Right; Top to Bottom: ADR Cypher; Kyowa Racing KR316; Motegi DP10; ROJA R2-5; Sportmax 961; TSW Montage

They are all 18". Personally, I like the ROJAs best, but leave it to me to pick the $600+ wheel.

and for good measure, here's mine... It's 20" though, and I think that's the only size they come in.

Those are nice! I saw them on TV on the Foose Mustang. Very muscular looking. How much do those cost if you don't mind?

I believe I got them for $2385.00 wheels, tires(Ventus K104's) mounted balanced and shipped to my door.

thanks for all your help, does anyone have any info on where to find the max dimensions for wheels that will fit? I really like the tenzo passion 5 in black 18x7.5, but am unsure if they will work or not. here is a link to a site you can find them. http://www.tenzoracingsports.com/roadwheels/passion-5/index.html

Here's my 16" gunmetal Enkei RZ-5's.
Not black but they match the darker panels nicely.

hey, those look really nice empire! They match really well with the whole style of your vehicle, great choice. I'm surprised they are 16's, they definately look like 15's...perhaps thats just b/c of the way the lip looks. But they look great!

Hey Murr
The Tenzo's would fit just fine man! Just make sure that u get the right offest (40-45)If Im not mistaken. Used to have a buddy here who owned an E with 18" Tenzo Poke 10's on em man! 245-50-18 and the ride was just phenominal and not to mention great looking.

your offset can be anywhere between 30 to 45.

wheel size can go anywhere from 16x6 to 22x8.5. And all this of course is assuming that you keep the same overall diameter.

so as long as the offset on those Tenzos falls in that range, you're good to go. Nice choice by the way :D

Thanks, you're right. I was also surprised at the appearance once installed. The do look smaller due to the lip design but it's cool with me because I love the chunkier tire look.

empire-those look great. like i really like it. btw the dark panels looks darker but i notice not dark enough to the splash guard. just saying i notice.

anyways, i'm thinking the same for rims, but with a smaller offset and maybe wider

If the rear gets to be a little too tucked in... just add spacers in the back.

Thanks for the comment man!

Nice rims Empire....Looks really complete with everything else you have done to your "E".

Oh and thanks for selling me your 5 holes....Sweet!

Talked to a guy here localy at Sears about the Element and he likes it. Is sold on Honda motors and likes the fact that there are a ton of things to Modify on it....Yeah! I bet he has bought one by now.

He sold me a 1/2" Craftsman torque wrench on sale for $48.00. Going to put this in the back of my "E" so, I can torque my lug nuts to correct ft. lbs of torque. Had to get a rain check.....They were sold out!
