Anyone Bay Area Element owners interested in getting together for a SF Bay Area meet on Saturday, April 22nd in San Francisco along Ocean Beach to meet and talk about the perks of Element ownership? Maybe grab a few beers over at the Beach/Park Chalet?

I'm sorry that I can't be there. Was born & raised in the City.

Let's make it Sunday! I have an event to attend on saturday ALL DAY... I have been wanting to get a bay are thing together for a while now. I'm ready any other weekend or on Sunday...

Given the responses thus far, it looks like it is going to be a lonely weekend. Guess there wasn't much notice given for a group E gathering this weekend. I'm willing to give this until tomorrow afternoon, if we don't get more takers, we should try it again later this spring. Thoughts?

uggh this lady is supposed to sell me her element. she's driving it over to me from sacramento, but she's been lagging on calling me back!

Saturday April 22 would work for me. I had been interested in some sort of Bay Area meet. Next Saturday might give everyone enough notice. Weather should be good by then too. Just an idea

The story behind the name is not as interesting as you would hope. I used to be an avid paintballer and my teammates nicknamed me ShotOnce. I liked it, so it stuck.

Assuming we get enough interested parties, it looks like we will go for Saturday, 4/22 at Ocean Beach in SF, maybe around 2 or so? We'll see if we get anymore takers...

I might be able to make it on 4/22 -- be a nice outing for the family :)

Know how you feel, I was in your shoes 5 1/2 months ago.....once you get past the 6-7 week mark, the world is much easier to navigate.

Personally, I enjoyed the vacation from the vacuum cleaner!!!:cool:

I'm on Ocean Beach as well, I'm looking at a cloudy sky as we speak. Anyway, if you see an Atomic Blue E in the neighborhood, say, "HI."

Tahoe would be cool! I'd love to go camping in the mountains! :) I drove past there on I80 on Monday in the snow- beautiful! course after spending the prior three days driving alone through some very empty country I started waxing philosophical about the Donner party :shock:

Personally, I chose the Graco SnugRide. I do have the pleasure to work for a police department, and our certified seat installer recommended the Snug Ride. Its nice because once you get the base installed, you just click the carrier/seat right in and your set.

I would imagine any seat with a base would work the same way. Also be sure to take advantage of getting it installed by a pro. Depending on what car you put it in, you may need to make adjustments to get it in right.

the nice seafood restaurant...it's pricey...I don't mind...maybe the cliff house then (better views and a bar to top). there this place off the great highway near pacifica. a little broadwalk there. I can't remember quite where. it would be a nice drive from ocean beach.

I was there, whre was everybody else? I was just south of Balboa, sitting on my tailgate looking for others. I saw one E go by, but didn't stop. I was there from 1:50 and just left a few minutes ago...

rymo and I were there at Balboa at 2pm-- but we didnt see you. we even drove around looking for other E's...

Okay no shooting then, I was kiding anyways. You missed out on coffee.

I backed into a space between a white moving truck and a red beetle, about 200 yards south of Balboa.

We should of saw you...we drove up to cabrillo and back down to bolboa, made a left into the parking lot and right to the parkings.

Oh well...next time we can a smaller parking lot.

If we wait for the sun to appear, it may not happen until October, given that the springs and summers are dominated by fog. I boffed the last one, so I'll let you guys figure it out and show up really early this time with a flashing light atop my car...

Yes, everytime I look at this section I see another SoCal e-meet going on.... We're NorCal- we gotta keep up! :D:)

How about meeting in the parking lot of the USS San Francisco memorial, it is basically just north of the Sutro Baths in San Francisco. If you look at the map below, you follow El Camino Del Mar to the end and there is a pretty secluded parking lot overlooking the bay towards the Golden Gate Bridge:

Yeah, I love that area too. That is where I tested out my new PIAA driving lights. They lit the area up like the fourth of July. I think I scared more than a few parked teenage couples. :rolleyes:

I figured this area was a smaller more secluded area that is away from the hub bub of Ocean Beach.

But maybe this should be started as a new thread to attract current attention?

I'll do it a little later, I just want to confirm my map markings. I want people to meet in the parking lot area of the USS San Francisco Memorial.

I'm pretty sure I am right, but I don't ever remember seeing "Merrie Way" in any of my travels and that is throwing me off. (BTW: Merrie Way is the parking lot above the Cliff House looking over the Pacific, also a gateway to Land's End. See, you learn something new everyday.)
