I have 2 10 in subs that I want to put into a sealed box for sure, but I was wondering if there's a difference in boxes....i.e....brand, material? Or is pretty much any sealed box going to give me just about the same results

Well, the materials are generally going to be either MDF, HDF, or fiberglass. I think (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) that the build quality of the box is more important than the actual material...most of the time, you'll see boxes of the mdf stuff, which is fine. Just make sure it's the optimum size for your subs and that the seams are glued and all of that fun stuff.

Good luck!!!

As well as build quality, I feel that internal volume is really important. Most generic prefab enclosures are designed with an internal volume that is adequate for most but not all drivers. Check your sub woofer manufacture instructions on enclosure volume and compare this to the box specs.
