I'm just curious to what everyone tunes to in their E...

I'm all over, not much of a channel surfer but just switch back and forth between numerous styles...

Mainly stays set to Squizz, but I will switch to 20 on 20, 90's, 80's, XMLM, The Rhyme, The City, etc... basically anything that is playing something good...

I'm kind of bored at work today... I wish I had access to post my wreck pics pre and post... I will eventually get them on here...

During the baseball season, my XM is set to 175 (baseball talk) or one of the play-by-play stations the majority of the time, both in the E and at home (man, I love XM! ).

When I'm in the mood for music, or listening online at work, I tune to Squizz, Mix 22, all three of the jazz stations, or sometimes XM Classics or Hear Music.

It's funny. I thought satellite radio was a goofy idea--who would want to pay for radio when you can get it for free--until we got the E. Now I love XM radio!

First set of presets: Real Jazz, 40s, Frank's Place, Bluesville, XM Classics, XM Pops, BBC World Service, CNN Headline News, XMPR, XM Comedy.

Second and third sets of presets are mostly "alternative" rock (XMU, Fred, The Loft), miscellaneous music (Fine Tuning, On Broadway), and news/info (ABC News, Weather Channel, etc.), but I mostly stay on the first 10.

I surf, but usually the 20's channels, or 09, 08, 47, and sometimes the comedy channel. Whatever is sounding good to me at the time.

Maybe it's a sign of my age or just my varied musical tastes, but I listen to XM75 Hear Music most. Where else can you go from Ryan Adams to KT Tunsten to Ben Harper to Sergio Mendes to Madeleine Peyroux? Granted, a lot of it is demographic-specific marketing, but...well, what radio isn't?!

Oh, and during the playoffs, 204-209 have been a godsend!

I'm on "Watercolors" most day's for it's contemporary jazz. When my wife is with me it's either Channel 75 which is Starbucks music channel. She's a partner for the Regional Office here in Indy and when we're not on those two its the "Spirit". Nothing like some good gospel to send you on your way and bring you back home.

Oh my, I must be the odd man out here..

Ethel, XMU, Fred, Boneyard, Top Tracks, XM Cafe, and when I need a pallate cleanser, I rinse my ears out with the limey flavor of Sunny.... which drives the wife absolute bonkers. But after a song or two she gets into it and starts making fun of the elevator music.

More people would be a little happier listening to some gospel on the way to work. Many times when I need to clear my head or just put on my thinking cap, the spirit of that music revitalizes me.

Well I spend 3-4 hours a day commuting (174 miles round trip) so I get a variety every day:

05-09 - decades
16, 17 - country (as a last resort when I can't find anything else)
20-22, 25 - Hits
62,64 - R&B
71 - Watercolors
140-142 - Sports talk radio
150 - Comedy (I love this channel, gets me through a lot of traffic jams)
176-189 - Baseball play by play
202 - O and A
222 - LA traffic

I guess I get my $$$ worth. XM is awsome!

I listen to the stations in the 20's mostly. Still kinda searching the stations to see what else I like, there is such a variety it's taking a long time. Plus I don't drive the E everyday (usually only a couple times a week) so I don't have much time to "surf"

I find my self listening mostly to XMKIDS for my son. It's not bad, makes me laugh and the music is fun. I like the Blend and the 80's,90's stations also.

Anyone notice that Squizz plays a lot of the same tunes as XMLM?:|

I'm all over the XM dial... but I'd enjoy surfing it way more if Honda would have thought to put the channel changer (instead of the mode) on the frigging steering wheel?!?

I love my E and I might keep the XM when it comes time to actually pay for it... but having to reach over to the radio while driving to change channels is annoying at best!

Oh well... pretty minor problem really! :-P

Thanks adamlstl... I just was looking at that thread too... we'll see... I already drive the wife nuts with my channel surfing at home on the boob-tube... she might actually do something crazy to me if I continue my habit in the car!! :-o

I have an after market XM receiver by Delphi and I got the remote with it... I decided not to use the factory XM basically because it only has 12 pre-sets... and the aftermarket one lets you have 30... so with the remote I can do all the surfing I want..

and the other person who commented about XMLM and Squizz playing same stuff... I agree that there are some common tunes played but XMLM plays harder and older stuff at the same time while Squizz I've found to play hard/soft stuff...
