At the risk of looking like or being accused of "ricing up" the "E"lement, I am considering getting an exhaust tip. Does anyone have experience with these? What I want to do is give the "E" a bit of showiness; I don't want a fart-cannon.

isketerol,

Well, I am not sure what you mean by exhaust tip, but we added the Exhaust trim. It does add something, and make the back side of the Element look great. I also don't know what a fart-cannon is. Can you explain that part?

I believe that the reference is to the resonators that are a part of a lot of aftermarket exhaust tips. You know the ones that are supposed to make your 4 cylinder grocery getter sound like a high performance racer. But they do kind of sound like a long drawn out case of flatulence!

OK, thanks. I know years and years back, you used to get exhaust tips that had a flap on it for added performance, but I don't think they work with the newer cars. Not sure they really helped with the only ones either.

Got my (chrome) exhaust cover at Walmart's automotive dept. for $20. It's made by Bell and has a heavy chrome finish. Easy to install and looks great!
