: Any E accesories specifically for dogs?

Just wondering if there are any accessories that are made for the Element that work well with dogs? Anything I should know about?

Specifically : My puppy loves the beach and mud and all kinds of dirt (as you can see from the pic) and I love to let him frolic to his hearts content. But.....I don't like hmi having the whole run of the E after we've been to the beach or hiking or whatever. He's a wild one and he jumps over the seats and all over the place as I am driving. How can I contain him to either the very back small area behind the seats or with the seats up to the whole back area?

You may want to look at a guard or barrier between the front and back. You may have luck doing a search. There is also an unfortunate event where a dog chewed through the seat belts, so that may need some consideration as well. There are tie down points in the back that you could attach a leash to. Seems a little extreme and confining, but it is an option.

Yea, I could never leave Marley alone in the E for any amount of time. He'd definitely chew through the seat belts and seats too probably!

I was considering the tie down points as it's very distracting having a large, wet, dirty, smelly dog trying to get in your lap while your driving!

Your very welcome...i have never seen those in person...but they seem to be the safest way to transport a pet.

After Gidget knocked the transmission into neutral, I got this from Drs Foster and Smith. Ridiculously expensive, I am surprised I paid that much. Oh well, it works. I'll take a pic of it in the E soon and post that.

Check out post #7 in this thread...

I like it cause my Great Dane and I can still hang out together but he doesn't have the opportunity to try and drive my E... I'm pretty darned particular about who gets to drive my E.

He also gets fully restrained with this system for big dogs attached to one of the upper rear tie-downs of the E...

Good luck!!
