I just snapped a pic with my new shoes installed. Thanks to the suggestions/experiences from EOC members I went with 245/17/65 Yokohama Geolander GT-S tires and Enkei wheels (as black as I could find). I went with the 245's as I wanted to fill in the fender a little more and avoid the accoiated headache and cost of new springs/shocks by dropping the height. I now finally feel like I am driving a SUV with these larger tires. They drive much better around corners and are a little quieter on the road compared to the stock tires...plus they look pretty mean too!

It was a nice day out so I snapped the pic at a park close to my house.

I will try to take some more shots in better lighting so you can see em in closer detail soon.

Niiiice! I share your taste in vehicle color choice. I really dig your rims by the way! Looks like it was an uber nice day too!

Man that thing is UGLEY !! You should trade it in for an Aztec! :D
I would not have one of those things ! It will kill the property value of your house.

What's next on your List for mods ?

I like the wheels. I've been looking at the black painted wheels. Have you thought of turning your panels black to complete the blackout look?

Nice set -up. How much were you're tires and rims ? Changing the grey panels to black would finish the look.

Where are you in Oregon? It looks beautiful! It looks like it might be the non-rainy side. Years ago I went through on a bike trip. Bend was nice. I need to start looking for a place to retire (in about 10 years) that is not in Minnesota. I just don't think I can take the winters too much longer.

Thanks to all for the compliments! I took the photo last weekend at Sunset Park in Sherwood Oregon (I live close by in Beavertton) It was a great day and I had just finished a qucik wash with Mr. Clean...

I got a pretty good deal (IMO of course) for the wheels and tires. I got them at America's Tire and they price matched the cost of 215/16/70 for my 245/17/45 which was pretty good to start off. Altogether I paid close to $900 with the tires, wheels, siping, and lifetime warranty for each tire and wheel. I felt pretty good about it, and with todays drive in the rain I am def liking the Geolander\s ride in the rain!

I have been seriously looking at the black panels...not sure when I will be able to buy them though our first baby is due in about 11 days but it could be any minute now (thats why I snuck in the wheels and tires) =)

I would like to pick up black panels and paint the inside of the wheels. The guy at America's Tire was able to paint my calipers black as well too bad its too hard to see with the shot having a little too much sun.

I might take some rains shots if the weather coops but we'll see.
