Ok, My wife's element is getting ready for the switch to synthetic oil in the engine and trany. No problem, I understand all the ramifications.

My question is what type (weight) of gear oil is used in the rear diff?
Can I switch to RedLine or Amsoil back there?

To the best of my knowledge there isnt an after market equivalent to Honda's dual pump fluid.Even if there was,in the interest of the warranty i'd stick with the Honda recomended fluid.
